To find your routing number in Cash App, open the app, tap Money, then tap your Cash balance to view your full routing number and account number. These steps apply to eligible U.S. mobile accounts with a Cash App Card.
If you already have a Cash App Card, start with the account details lookup below. If you do not have one, complete the card-order process before returning to those details.
The short version
- Where to look: Tap Money, then your Cash balance.
- What you get: Your account details show the full routing number and account number.
- Card requirement: You need a Cash App Card to access these details.
- Which number to use: Use the routing number shown in your own account.
Find your routing number
Open Cash App on your phone and tap Money. Tap your Cash balance to open your account details, then read the full routing number shown alongside your account number.
The lookup continues beyond the Money screen. Your Cash balance is the next item to tap, and the account details that appear contain both numbers together.
Read the routing number from those details when you need it. If you also need your account number, you can read it in the same place without starting another lookup.
Use the number in your own account
When entering your banking details elsewhere, use the routing number displayed in your own Cash App account. Avoid substituting a generic Cash App routing number from an online tutorial.
Keep the lookup tied to the account whose details you need. Open that account's details through Money and your Cash balance, and use the full routing number displayed there.
Get a Cash App Card if you need one
If you do not have a Cash App Card, Cash App says you need one to access your routing and account numbers. Eligible U.S. customers can start the card order from the app.
The card requirement applies to access to both numbers. For an eligible account without a Cash App Card, ordering the card is the prerequisite to viewing these banking details.
Tap Money, then select Get your free card or Design a new card. Tap Continue and follow the remaining prompts in the app to complete the card-order process.
Continue through the card-order prompts after tapping Continue. Completing that process comes before returning to your Cash balance for the routing number and account number.
Return to your account details
After completing the card-order process, tap Money again, then tap your Cash balance. Read your routing number and account number in the details that appear.
This return takes you through the same mobile lookup used by customers who already have a Cash App Card. The card-order process supplies the prerequisite, while your Cash balance opens the account details.
Check direct deposit eligibility for sponsored accounts
If you are setting up direct deposit for a sponsored account, Cash App permits it for eligible teen sponsored accounts. Children's sponsored accounts are excluded from direct deposits.
For direct deposit, the type of sponsored account matters. The permission for eligible teen sponsored accounts does not extend to children's sponsored accounts.
