Save your records and resolve outstanding orders
Save any account records you want to keep before starting deletion. Resolve ongoing orders and returns first so you can handle those matters while you still have account access. Unused coupons and credits become unavailable with deletion, so consider those before confirming.
Account closure does not guarantee that every associated record will be erased. Temu says it can retain information for legal requirements, claims or fraud prevention.
Delete your account in the Temu app
Open Temu on your iPhone or Android phone and sign in to the account you want to delete. Tap your user avatar at the bottom of the screen, open Settings, then select Account security.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete your Temu account. Complete the deletion confirmations and any identity-verification prompts to submit your request. If you cannot reach that control in the app, use the browser deletion page below.
Delete your account on the Temu website
Sign in to Temu in your browser, then click your user avatar in the upper-right corner of the desktop layout. Select Account security and choose Delete your Temu account at the bottom. Follow the confirmation and verification prompts until you submit the request.
To open the flow directly, visit the Temu account-deletion page and sign in when prompted. Select the checkbox labeled I want to permanently delete my Temu account. and choose Continue, then complete any reason, verification and final confirmation prompts.
Further confirmation buttons can include Continue deleting, Yes, I want to delete my account and Delete. Follow the prompts shown for your account, since the confirmation sequence can vary. Opening the deletion page alone does not submit your request.

Wait for deletion or cancel your request
After you submit an ordinary deletion request, Temu automatically signs you out. Temu says deletion is completed within seven business days, so your account is not necessarily deleted as soon as you finish the prompts.
To reverse a pending request, sign back in before the deletion deadline and explicitly cancel it. Complete the cancellation prompt while the request is still pending; signing in alone does not complete cancellation.
Use privacy channels if you cannot complete deletion
If you cannot complete the app or website flow, you can contact Temu through its privacy-request channels. These channels may require identity verification and are not guaranteed substitutes for authenticated account closure. The seven-business-day window Temu gives for ordinary account deletion does not establish a completion deadline for these separate requests.
