To delete your MyFitnessPal account, open Help in the app or Settings on the website, then select Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your account and cannot be undone, so handle any subscription cancellation separately before closing it. Sign in only through MyFitnessPal’s own app or website, and never share a code, password, or remote access with someone who contacts you.

Cancel paid subscription renewal first
If you pay for a subscription, cancel renewal through the platform where you purchased it before deleting the account. MyFitnessPal warns that account deletion may not cancel an app-store subscription. Cancellation stops renewal and is separate from closing your account.
For an Apple subscription, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then open Subscriptions. Select MyFitnessPal, then tap Cancel Subscription.
For a Google Play subscription, open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then select Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. Select the MyFitnessPal subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription.
For a subscription purchased through the website, sign in and open Settings > Subscription Settings. Under Auto-Renewal, change On to Off.

Get help when you cannot delete the account
On MyFitnessPal support, select Submit a request to open the support request form. Explain that you need help deleting your account and describe where you get stuck.
For deletion problems involving a Facebook-linked MyFitnessPal account, you can also email [email protected] and explain the problem. The support request form is another option for account access or deletion difficulties.
Request deletion of personal information
You can request deletion of personal information under the privacy rights applicable to your jurisdiction. Legal exceptions may apply, and a privacy request is separate from the account-closing steps above. Do not treat submitting a data-deletion request as confirmation that your account has closed.
A deletion request asks MyFitnessPal to remove your personal information, subject to applicable exceptions. Open the Privacy Request Center, specify your country or region, and indicate the deletion right you want to exercise.
A telephone deletion request also asks MyFitnessPal to remove your personal information under applicable privacy rights. Call (855) 599-5112, MyFitnessPal’s published number checked in October 2026, and request deletion of your personal information. Legal exceptions may apply.
An authorized representative’s deletion request asks for removal of your personal information under applicable privacy rights. In jurisdictions that permit representatives, have your authorized representative submit the request to [email protected]. MyFitnessPal must verify the representative’s identity and your authorization.

Does uninstalling MyFitnessPal delete your account?
Uninstalling the app does not close your account. MyFitnessPal says synced information remains on its servers after you remove the app and can return after reinstallation.
Does disconnecting MyFitnessPal from Facebook complete account deletion?
Do not treat Facebook disconnection as confirmation that your MyFitnessPal account is deleted. MyFitnessPal directs users making deletion requests through Facebook back to its own account-deletion procedure.

MyFitnessPal’s current directions place Delete Account under Help. Tap More, or on iOS without a More menu, the profile icon at the upper right, then scroll down and tap Help to reach Delete Account.

You do not need an installation, update, or download to use the website or request routes. You can use those options without reinstalling or updating the mobile app.
