Google Play Store not working

If the Google Play is not working properly, it is freezing, crashing or if the apps won’t download, there are several things you can do to fix the problem. One of the following solutions will work for sure.

Method 1:

Clear Google Play cache. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play (under All section) and tap Clear Cache.

Method 2:

Clear Google Play data. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play (under All section) and tap Clear Data.

Method 3:

Clear Google Play Services cache and data.

Method 4:

Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store and tap Uninstall updates. Then, download the older version of the app, from a website such as http://download.technobezz.com/android/.

Method 5:

Navigate to Settings > Accounts and then select Google under “Manage accounts”. Select your account, tap on three dots to open the menu and then click on Remove. If you have more than one account, remove them all. Once you are done, go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account, select Google and add your account.

Method 6:

If nothing else works, you can perform a factory data reset. Backup your files first, then go to Settings > Backup & Reset, select Factory data reset and then confirm the action.

This error usually appears when the users try to download new apps or update the ones they already installed. WhatsApp is often affected by this error. Let’s see how to fix this.

Method 1:

This method requires root. First, install Root Manager. Browse the internal storage. Go to Android > Data > WhatsApp. You need to delete the folder “com.whatsapp.” When you are done, install WhatsApp again.

Method 2: 

Download Cleanmaster. Delete WhatsApp. Launch Cleanmaster and clean the junk files. If some important files are selected, uncheck them.

Method 1:

Try to download the app using the Wi-Fi network.

The main reason for the error 403 is the proxy settings, so you need to disable it. To do that, Head to settings > wireless and network > mobile network > APN (Access point name) and then select clearproxy option to be confirmed that proxy setting is off.”

Turn the Airplane mode on and then turn it back off.

Open the Google Play, tap on three horizontal lines to open the menu, click on Settings, and then click on Clear local search history.

This error can show up during downloading, updating or installing of the applications. Here are the solutions.

Method 1:

Restart your Android device.

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, tap Clear Cache and tap Clear Data.

Navigate to Settings > Accounts > Google > Gmail Accounts and delete your account. Then, clear cache and data, restart your phone, and once you are done, add your account again.

This error usually appears on Android devices rooted with the custom room. Here are the fixes.

Method 1:

Stop the downloading process, close the Play Store app, and then open the app again and try to install the app.

Method 2:

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, tap Clear Cache and tap Clear data.

If you are using custom ROM, boot your phone into recovery mode. Then, go to Settings > Advanced Settings and tap on Wipe Dalvik cache to delete the cache from custom ROM.

Google Play Store no connection error

Sometimes, Google Play Store is not able to connect to the Internet. You can solve this easily.

Method 1:

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, tap the Force Stop button, and then tap on Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Method 2:

The problem may occur if you changed your Gmail password, and forget to add a new password in Google Play Store. What you need to do is add the new password.

Method 3:

Make sure time and date are correct.

Method 4:

A fresh start will definitely fix the issue. What you should do is to perform factory data reset. Backup your data first because factory data reset will erase all your data, personal settings, and third-party apps. Navigate to Settings > Backup & Reset, and tap on Factory data reset. This will fix the problem, and your device will work flawlessly.
