Lyft is starting to roll out Lyft Go across the U.S. today, offering a $9.99 monthly membership that includes DashPass and earns riders 8% back in Lyft Credits. Members can spend those credits on subsequent Lyft rides or orders through DoorDash. Lyft Go with DashPass also has a $96 annual option, and riders can enroll through the Lyft app with a free trial lasting one month.

People who already have DashPass, as well as new DashPass subscribers, will be able to connect their accounts and receive Lyft Go without an additional charge. Lyft will also offer Lyft Go Core for $4.99 monthly, with 5% back in Lyft Credits and no DashPass membership. The cheaper tier limits credit redemption to Lyft rides, while Lyft Go with DashPass lets members use their rewards across both services.

The 8% reward applies to rides ranging from Wait & Save through Lyft Black, according to Lyft. The included DashPass membership provides delivery without a delivery fee, lower service charges and special savings when orders qualify. Lyft Go with DashPass also gives members three relaxed cancellations each month.

Existing Lyft Pink subscribers will move automatically to Lyft Go with DashPass after receiving advance notification, with their current price preserved. They will begin getting the new benefits and can activate DashPass through the app. Subscribers can cancel there before renewal, while Lyft Pink All-Access members retain their existing benefits without changes to that membership.

Lyft Go with DashPass includes the Lost Item Fee Waiver, covering the fee for a return trip when riders leave belongings behind, without a usage limit. Both membership tiers include automatic matching for donations made through Round Up & Donate. When members opt into that feature and select a cause, Lyft says it will match their charitable contribution in full.

Separately, riders on select trips can browse nearby restaurants available through DoorDash inside the Lyft app and begin ordering before reaching their destination. That ordering feature does not require a membership. Lyft describes Lyft Go as an expansion of its existing partnership with DoorDash.
