ASUS has announced TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition, a limited edition graphics card that includes Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The card carries 16GB of GDDR6 memory. ASUS has not disclosed a price.
Availability remains unclear because ASUS links the card's arrival to the game's September 4, 2026 release, a date preceding today's announcement. In OC Mode, the card's boost clock reaches up to 3080MHz.
Blue and gold on the card draw their inspiration from the Oni Gauntlet featured in the game. Artwork inspired by samurai appears on both the shroud and backplate, extending the theme across the card's exterior. The included Onimusha: Way of the Sword places supernatural fighting in Kyoto during the Edo period and uses RE Engine.
The graphics processor uses AMD RDNA™ 4 architecture. ASUS says the card improves ray-tracing acceleration and supports AMD FSR™ Gaming Technologies. For display use, ASUS describes support for monitors combining high resolutions with fast refresh rates.
For cooling, ASUS pairs its Axial-tech fans with a GPU thermal pad that changes phase. The exterior is made from die-cast metal and includes vents, while the cooling fins are positioned to help air move through the assembly. ASUS says this cooling arrangement allows the card to maintain maximum boost clocks while running games.
ASUS claims the fans' dual-ball bearings offer a lifespan reaching up to twice that of conventional designs. ASUS GPU Guard places adhesive at each of the GPU's four corners to reduce stress caused by heat and mechanical forces. A separate GPU bracket spreads mounting pressure to provide additional stability.
ASUS describes the components in the power circuitry as military-grade. A protective coating on the PCB is intended to reduce short circuits caused by dust, moisture or debris reaching the board. Production also uses the ASUS Auto-Extreme manufacturing process.
