Zoom users can now search for answers across conversations and more than 40 third-party applications through agentic search, which is available now. Zoom also rolled out its Unified Context Layer today at Zoomtopia, combining information from conversations with company documents and connected business systems to help carry decisions into subsequent tasks. Supported search sources include Microsoft OneDrive and ServiceNow alongside Zoom Meetings, Phone, and Chat.

ZoomMate’s AI Agent Teams are also available now, with a lead agent assigning different parts of a project to specialized agents. Zoom says those agents can work simultaneously, while the lead combines their results into a deliverable for a person to review. The search and project agents are available ahead of several My Notes additions, including a standalone mobile app expected in December 2026.

My Notes Workflows is expected this month and will let users route meeting summaries to destinations such as Salesforce and Zoom Chat. Zoom says users will be able to describe a custom automation in natural language inside My Notes instead of configuring it through a workflow builder. Prebuilt templates are intended for IT, marketing, and sales use cases, according to Zoom.

The planned My Notes mobile app will record and transcribe conversations held in person without requiring the Zoom Workplace app. Follow Meeting, also expected in December, will let invited users have My Notes attend Zoom meetings for them and receive summaries generated by AI plus personalized transcripts. Users will also have an option to start it automatically for Zoom meetings they are invited to.

Screen Capture in Transcript is expected in December and will attach meeting screenshots to the corresponding transcript timestamps, preserving visual material such as charts or slides. For recording in person, the DTEN Action Card is expected in November 2026 and will connect to My Notes without needing a laptop or phone. Bota’s phone capture device Leaf and wearable recorder Bean are expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Zoom says conversation context can also reach external AI platforms, including ChatGPT, through APIs and MCP connectors. Starting in November, users will be able to initiate Zoom workflows from Claude and Codex, according to the company. Those workflows will support meeting, phone, and chat tasks, as well as changes to CRM records.
