ASUS this week showcased its new ProArt P16 and P14 laptops along with the GR1X mini PC at IFA 2026, all powered by NVIDIA's RTX Spark processor family. The company calls the GR1X the world's first Windows PC built for personal agents. The machines are on display at an invite-only showroom that runs September 2 to 5 at the ABION Spreebogen Waterside Hotel, featuring seven interactive zones and a keynote session.
The RTX Spark superchip combines an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 cores, a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores, and fifth-gen Tensor Cores with FP4 precision. It delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and supports up to 128GB of unified memory. ASUS says that power lets the machines run large language models with up to 120 billion parameters locally, render 3D scenes larger than 90GB, and generate 4K AI video.

ASUS emphasizes the benefits of running AI on-device rather than in the cloud: no token limits or pay-per-use costs, prompts and files stay on the machine for privacy, and users can fine-tune models for their own needs. The company preloads its MuseTree app with FLUX and WAN models, plus StoryCube for organizing media. ProArt machines come with Adobe Creative Cloud bundles, and eligible ASUS laptops get an exclusive Google AI bundle. ASUS also brings its workflows to ComfyUI at IFA, and its Zenni Claw interacts with MuseTree for agentic workflows.
The ProArt P16 and P14 were first announced at Computex 2026, where ASUS said they would be up to 13% slimmer and 18% lighter than the previous generation. The P16 measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg. Both laptops come in Nano Black and Neo White and are scheduled to ship starting fall 2026 in select regions, with pricing still unannounced.
The RTX Spark family itself debuted at Computex 2026, built around a 20-core Arm-based Grace CPU co-developed with MediaTek. It uses the same GB10 silicon as Nvidia's DGX Spark, and Nvidia said partners were working on more than 30 laptops and 10 desktops based on it. Eight RTX Spark laptops were confirmed for fall 2026. The chip scales from low single-digit watts up to 80 watts.
Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra also uses RTX Spark and promises the same 1-petaflop AI performance, with availability later in 2026 and pricing unannounced. Nvidia's Jensen Huang called the RTX Spark line "the first completely reengineered, reinvented line of PCs that has happened in 40 years."
