For just $39.99, down from its list price of $69.99, the stick also costs less than its recent averages. Its 30-day average is $55.83, its 90-day average is $50.74, and its 180-day average is $46.72. Those figures give the current price more context than the 43% reduction from list price alone.

What You're Getting

• 4K Ultra HD streaming includes support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, alongside Dolby Atmos audio.
• Wi-Fi 6 support accommodates 4K streaming when other devices are connected to your router.
• The 2026 Fire TV interface includes dedicated content categories, more room to pin favorite apps and personalized recommendations from Alexa+.
• Voice search lets you press the remote button and speak naturally to find something to watch across your apps.
• Alexa+ also supports smart home management and questions beyond entertainment, giving the voice remote uses beyond finding a movie.

Who This Is For

This fits viewers with a 4K TV who want Amazon's combination of streaming, voice search and app browsing. Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos support make it particularly relevant if those formats are priorities for your entertainment setup. For people who spend too much time browsing, the dedicated categories and ability to pin more favorite apps are practical reasons to consider it.

Final Verdict

Choose the Fire TV Stick 4K if its picture formats and Alexa+ controls match how you watch. Amazon's $39.99 offer puts that feature set below all three recent price averages, making this a sensible purchase for a streaming setup you need now.
