Verizon has started selling Motorola's 2026 lineup of foldable phones and wearables across the country, and the carrier is waiving activation and upgrade fees for its customers. The range covers three razr models, a smartwatch and a pair of earbuds, all available through verizon.com, the My Verizon app and Verizon stores.
The top model is the motorola razr fold, priced at $1,949.99 at retail. It opens to an 8.1-inch main display. Google Gemini and Perplexity search are built in. The razr+ 2026 costs $1,099.99, while the motorola razr 2026 with Crystals by Swarovski is $999.99 and uses real Swarovski crystals in a PANTONE Meteorite finish.
Verizon is pushing monthly pricing hard. For Simplicity plan customers on a 48-month payment agreement, the razr with Crystals by Swarovski runs $10 a month, the razr+ 2026 is $15 a month and the razr fold is $25 a month. The carrier says Simplicity plan customers can save as much as $749.99 off retail, and trade-in discounts arrive as bill credits spread over 36 months.
The moto watch ultra is listed at $349.99, or $0 a month for buyers who already own or purchase a Motorola phone and add a new connected watch line, a discount Verizon values at $350 delivered through bill credits over 36 months. The watch handles calls, smart home control and music, and pairs Google Gemini with Polar health tracking. The moto buds 2 plus cost $149 and add active noise cancellation, spatial audio and smart microphones, with battery life that lasts through the day.
Verizon's Loyalty program is open to all postpaid customers regardless of plan, and it removes activation and upgrade fees worth up to $40 per device. Members also get 3% back each month in Verizon Dollars, which can be put toward devices, accessories, gift cards or hotel rewards. Verizon Shine adds weekly sweepstakes and daily drops.
Eligible Simplicity, myPlan, FWA and Fios customers can claim six months of Google AI Pro, a perk that bundles 5 TB of cloud storage. Current Google AI Pro subscribers are excluded, and the plan continues at $10 a month once the promotional period ends, a rate Verizon says saves $9.99 monthly. The Simplicity plan itself includes 10GB of premium mobile hotspot data.
The launch lands as Motorola works through its own software commitments. The company has confirmed that more than 50 phones will receive the stable Android 17 update, and it has said its 2027 flagship phones will support GrapheneOS, beginning with a non-folding model that GrapheneOS developers suggested would be the Signature's follow-up, ahead of the next Razr Fold and Razr Ultra. Those GrapheneOS devices are slated for seven years of proper updates, and the 2026 Razr Fold and the Razr Ultra are reported to come close to those requirements, though they lack memory tagging and secure element integration.
What Verizon's announcement does not include is any trade-in value table or a breakdown of which older devices qualify for the larger discounts, leaving the final monthly price dependent on what a customer brings in.
