Motorola has finally answered the question owners have been waiting on, revealing the list of devices set to receive the stable Android 17 update. The rollout has already begun with the Motorola Edge 2025, and the company plans to expand it to other models over the coming weeks and months.
Lenovo's official blog for Spain published the full roster of compatible Motorola phones. The premium foldables and flagships, including the Razr 70 series, Razr 60 series, and Edge 70 lineup, are slated to receive priority in the rollout.
The Android 17 release brings several notable refinements to Motorola's HelloUI skin. Beta builds have highlighted a Dynamic Island-style implementation for Live Updates centered around the front camera cutout, an upgraded Moto AI assistant named Qira, and overhauled system haptics.
Users can also expect resizable quick tiles, lock screen customization options, a Pixel-style volume panel, tinted app icons, and an updated app drawer grid.
The stable Over-The-Air builds will be deployed in batches by region and carrier, so not every compatible device will see the update at the same time. Owners who want to try the software before their batch arrives can apply for beta slots through Motorola's community forums.
Once the stable build lands, installation happens through Settings > System > System updates, and Motorola advises backing up the device and keeping it charged to at least 50 percent before upgrading.
Motorola's update history has drawn criticism for delays in the past, making this confirmation of over 50 phones for Android 17 a meaningful step for owners of its recent devices.
