Meta says its Muse personal AI agent is coming to its AI glasses in the coming months, after the assistant launched earlier in September 2026. On the glasses, Muse works from what the wearer is looking at, and a voice mode is built for long back-and-forth conversation while other tasks run in the background. Mark Zuckerberg showed off the new features, new connectors and what the company calls a state-of-the-art model during Connect 2026.

The shopping list behind Muse grew sharply at the event. Meta named Walmart, Best Buy, American Eagle Outfitters, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Fanatics, Gap, Michael Kors, Sephora, Ulta and Wayfair as new connectors, alongside Shop Pay and PayPal for payments. Instacart joins for grocery stocking, Expedia is coming soon for travel planning, and Notion, Granola, GitHub and Box were added for work tasks. Muse arrived with dozens of partners and the entire Shopify catalogue, and Meta says it will also have an email address of its own. Meta also teased Muse Charm, a pocket device built for talking and interacting with Muse, with more details promised later this year.

Meta VR Glasses were announced as the company's most advanced device yet and the first IMAX Enhanced certified VR device. Meta says they will be among the few ways to watch select films in IMAX expanded aspect ratio at home. Media partners include Prime Video, YouTube, DIRECTV, AMC+, Crunchyroll, Plex, ESPN and Tubi, with 3D content from Disney+, Peacock, HBO Max and Paramount+. Sports coverage comes from ESPN, MLB, NBC Sports, TNT Sports and UFC, spanning more than 100 live events a year. The glasses can also turn any flat surface into a keyboard and touchpad.

The Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses were introduced as the first-ever audio glasses, and Meta describes them as the lightest and slimmest AI glasses yet. The next generation of its best-selling AI glasses, Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3), adds a customizable action button for Meta AI. Meta also showed a new Ivory colorway of Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner, announced a first collaboration with LISA, and said it will offer its most affordable pair of Meta Glasses yet.

Hearing enhancement on the glasses has been cleared by the FDA for perceived mild to moderate hearing loss, Meta says, and it launches in the US later this year. Setup happens at home in minutes with no clinic visit or prescription, and Meta says adding it will cost $149.99, or come with a subscription to Meta One. A new audio balance control shifts sound toward the left or right ear, while mono audio sends everything to one side.

Meta Ray-Ban Display picked up hands-free navigation and a personalized hologram for video calls, plus Dolby Atmos capture with spatial surround sound. The display is expanding to the UK, Canada, France, Italy and Germany, and can now be ordered online. Meta says it will offer more than 100 AI glasses options by the end of 2026, an expansion it has tied to its EssilorLuxottica partnership.

The announcements land a day after Meta detailed the Ray-Ban Meta Audio line and additional AI glasses styles, and on the same day it introduced Meta VR Glasses. Meta has also been promoting Petal, a 7,000 km transoceanic subsea cable linking the US and France. What the event did not include was pricing or a firm release date for Muse on glasses, Meta VR Glasses or Muse Charm.
