Google has made its google-cloud-developer plugin available through Antigravity Marketplace, giving coding agents access to current Google Cloud documentation and controls over infrastructure changes. Google says the plugin requires user consent before an agent activates billable APIs or changes cloud infrastructure, addressing operations that could otherwise proceed without explicit permission. Developers can find it under Build with Google and install it through either the marketplace interface or a terminal.

The bundled Developer Knowledge Model Context Protocol (MCP) server comes pre-authorized, with Antigravity handling authentication so developers can connect without supplying API keys, exchanging OAuth tokens or changing configuration files. The connection gives agents access to Google's official developer documentation immediately after installation. Google says agents can consult live documentation rather than depend solely on training data that may contain outdated library syntax or incorrect command parameters.

For command execution, the bundled gcloud skill checks syntax and applies safeguards intended to prevent accidental destructive actions. Google says the plugin also examines the local environment and existing CLI configuration before planning how to execute commands. Its IAM controls follow least-privilege patterns, while a separate authentication skill directs agents toward service identities and Application Default Credentials (ADC) and blocks downloading service account JSON keys.

The plugin can expand its guidance for specialized work by retrieving additional skills from the google/skills repository on GitHub when a task needs them. A routing rule called google-cloud-discovery.md works with finding-google-skills to select that guidance, which Google says avoids loading dozens of specialized skills into an agent's context in advance. The bundled retrieving-developer-knowledge skill covers official material for Firebase, Android, Web and Gemini as well as Google Cloud.

Another bundled skill, google-cloud-recipe-onboarding, handles guidance for account onboarding, initial project configuration and billing checks. It examines project status before trying to activate services, adding a preliminary check to that setup workflow.

Google previously described Antigravity's Teamwork framework as a way for groups of agents to collaborate and critique work over hours or days. In that earlier research effort, Google said Antigravity paired with Gemini 3.7 Flash solved seven open mathematics and theoretical computer science problems and scored 71% on TCSBench.
