ASUS says its ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace are available, bringing OLED screens running at 720Hz and 540Hz, respectively, to its esports monitor range. Both pair a 24.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a rated 0.02ms gray-to-gray response time. ASUS has not disclosed prices for either model.
The two monitors share TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED technology, so choosing the 540Hz model retains the same screen size, resolution and rated response time as the 720Hz flagship. Both specify HDR brightness peaking at 1700 nits, although ASUS cautions that color pre-calibration can affect that peak. Their panels support true 10-bit color and cover 99.5% of DCI-P3, with factory color calibration also included.

Connections provide another distinction: the ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace has DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), which ASUS says supplies 80Gbps for operation at the full 720Hz refresh rate. The ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace instead uses DisplayPort 1.4 DSC. Each monitor also includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs rated at 48Gbps, an earphone connection and variable refresh rate support.
ASUS includes a three-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in on both models, alongside ASUS OLED Care Pro and a Neo Proximity Sensor. The company says its Tandem WOLED design uses two light-emitting layers, claiming up to 31% greater brightness and up to 63% longer lifespan against conventional WOLED. Both monitors also support Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB).
For players who move between practice and tournament setups, the flagship's Position Sensor shows screen height, tilt and distance from the user on-screen. Both models have physical markings for reproducing stand adjustments, while Hue Optimizer provides six-axis adjustments to hue and saturation. ASUS also supplies three Esports Color Modes, including presets for CS2, PUBG and VALORANT.
The monitors follow ASUS's earlier ROG XBOX Ally X20 handheld, which combined a 7.4-inch OLED display with an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor at $1,299. That handheld's OLED panel was specified at 120Hz and 1,400 nits peak brightness. The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace is also the designated monitor for PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026, which ASUS describes as the first Counter-Strike Major to use OLED.
