Samsung Electronics is expanding its flat design, previously limited to select premium models, to a new lineup of 24-inch front-load washers now on display at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The washers are being shown at Samsung Connect, the company's exhibition running from Sept. 2-6, ahead of their official launch.
The updated design replaces the protruding front elements of earlier Samsung washers with a flat, uniform front surface that the company says blends more naturally into modern interiors. Beyond looks, the design includes a larger door with a wider opening angle, making it easier to load and unload laundry.

The lineup also brings laundry technologies previously found on premium models. Samsung says Bubble Shot pushes water across the drum to shorten wash cycles without weakening cleaning results, and that Ecobubble helps detergent break down quicker and spread evenly, saving energy even in cool water washes.
“Customers around the world increasingly expect home appliances to harmonize with their living environments,” said Hyoung Min Park, Vice President and Head of the Customer Experience Team of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “By bringing our flat design to a wider range of laundry appliances, Samsung aims to deliver a consistent design experience that combines refined aesthetics with thoughtful usability.”
The announcement follows Samsung's IFA 2026 showcase of two new Bespoke AI Washer models, including a 10 kg model with A-70% energy efficiency and a 13 kg large-capacity model, both unveiled on Sept. 2.
Pricing and availability for the new 24-inch washers have not been disclosed; the company says only that they are on display for an early look before the official launch.
