Samsung has added a cheaper 14-inch model to the Galaxy Book6 family, starting at $799 in select markets with a choice of 8GB or 16GB of memory and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, with more regions to follow.
The laptop offers up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge, according to Samsung, and supports 45W fast charging that delivers roughly a 33% charge in 30 minutes. It runs on Intel Core 3 and Core 5 processors, and Samsung says the entry Core Series 3 chip pairs its newest Intel architecture with frugal power use for basic workloads. That places the new model a clear step below the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, which runs Intel's Core Ultra silicon.

The look stays in step with the rest of the Galaxy Book6 line. The device measures 15.7mm thick and weighs 1.35kg, and it introduces a Violet Silver color option for the first time on Galaxy Book, alongside a classic Gray choice.
The 16:10 display offers more vertical space for documents and multitasking, and anti-reflective technology aims to reduce glare. Connectivity includes two USB Type-C ports with identical functionality, plus USB Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Galaxy AI features are built in, including AI Select for on-screen content insights, AI cut out for removing image backgrounds, and Note Assist for summarizing notes. Cross-device tools like Quick Share, Storage Share, Multi Control, Second Screen, and Link to Windows are also included.
