The snap-on cover is available for all 32 NFL teams and works with the Ring Indoor Cam Plus and the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam. Pre-orders are open now at Ring.com and Amazon.com, though the announcement does not list a price or a specific release date beyond the pre-order availability.
Ring likens the accessory to a jersey for the camera and describes a three-step process: pick a team, line the cover up on the device, and press it into place. No tools are needed, and the company says it can be removed just as easily to revert to the original look. It does not block the lens, microphone, or sensors, and Ring says it does not affect video performance, Motion Detection, or Two-Way audio.
The accessory targets die-hard fans, gift givers, mixed-jersey households, and seasonal decorators, according to the announcement. It is available through separate links for AFC and NFC teams.
The Ring Indoor Cam Plus is a compact fixed-lens camera suited for monitoring a doorway, shelf, or nursery, while the Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam offers 360-degree horizontal rotation and automatic motion tracking. Cloud storage for recorded clips requires a compatible Ring subscription, with motion event videos stored for up to 180 days. Changing the storage duration affects only new recordings, not existing ones.
