Meta has launched Meta One, a subscription service that adds extra AI usage and expression features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI, with plans starting at 2.49 euros a month. The company says the subscriptions are available worldwide now, and that the main experience on its apps and Meta AI stays free.
Pricing runs across three tiers. Single-product plans start at 2.49 euros a month, bundles aimed at individuals start at 6.99 euros, and creator and business bundles start at 16.99 euros. Within those tiers, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus each cost 2.99 euros a month, WhatsApp Plus costs 2.49 euros, the Core bundle is 6.99 euros, Premium is 20.99 euros, and the business plans Essential and Advanced start at 16.99 and 54.99 euros respectively.
The launch covers more than 50 features, according to Meta, with a gradual expansion planned to Edits, its AI glasses and other products. Meta says it has already counted 15 million subscriptions and trials to date. The Core and Premium bundles combine the single-product features with higher usage limits on the most compute-heavy AI tools, including image creation and editing and video generation with the Muse models, plus more use of in-app tools such as Restyle on Instagram.
For creators and businesses, Meta One adds a richer profile that highlights a website, locations and customer feedback, a more prominent follow button on Reels, and automatic follow invitations sent to people who engage with their content. The Essential plan includes a verified badge, a verified channel in the WhatsApp Business app and impersonation protection, subject to a successful verification. Advanced adds publishing tools such as scheduling Stories up to 30 days ahead.
The move follows the single-product subscriptions Meta introduced earlier this year, Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus. Those plans have since gained features including custom fonts for direct messages and Stories on Instagram, and Facebook Plus has added Messenger personalization options and more Reels insights. Meta says WhatsApp Plus will soon test chat and media backup storage along with Focus Schedules that mute or hide certain chats on a set timetable.
Meta says more than half of early bundle subscribers used both the AI and expression features, with tools like Restyle and voice effects on Instagram among the main reasons people signed up. The company says Edits Plus is also coming to Meta One, bringing more cloud storage for syncing projects across devices and greater use of a future Edits assistant that analyzes Instagram insights and suggests ideas.
The announcement does not specify how long the gradual rollout to Edits, AI glasses and other products will take, nor does it detail what the higher AI usage limits translate to in concrete generations per month. Meta frames the subscriptions as going beyond what a free experience built for billions of people can offer, while keeping everyday Meta AI use free.
