Get This Deal

At $179.99, the current price is down from Amazon's typical price of $189.99, this LG suits players who want QHD resolution and a high refresh rate in one display. The $10 saving against that Amazon comparison price is modest, so the stronger reason to choose it is the combination of panel, speed, and stand adjustments.

What You're Getting

• Display: A 27-inch IPS panel with 2560x1440 resolution and a three-sided, virtually borderless design.
• Speed: A 180Hz refresh rate, overclockable to 200Hz, plus a stated 1ms GtG response time.
• Color and synchronization: HDR10 support, 99% sRGB coverage, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support, and AMD FreeSync.
• Positioning: Tilt, height, and pivot adjustments let you set the screen position for your desk. Black Stabilizer and a Crosshair overlay add gaming tools.
• Connections: One DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI inputs, and a three-pole headphone output for sound.

Who This Is For

This fits PC players who want a 27-inch QHD monitor for fast-paced games and everyday use at the same desk. The adjustable stand is useful if screen height and positioning matter as much as refresh rate. Having both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs also gives you choices when connecting your setup.

The Caveat

The 200Hz figure requires overclocking; the monitor supports 180Hz otherwise. Using the overclocked setting requires a graphics card that supports DisplayPort 1.4 and a DisplayPort 1.4 cable.
