LG is showing off seven home appliances at IFA 2026, with the booth focusing on AI, energy efficiency, and space-conscious design. Among the highlights is a next-generation LG SIGNATURE refrigerator that uses large language model voice recognition, allowing natural interactions for storage guidance. The fridge also sports a 6.8-inch LCD display.
The company also introduced a new flagship laundry solution, the 25-inch LG WashTower, which fits between the existing 24-inch and 27-inch models. LG says the WashTower lineup has sold more than 3.2 million units globally. A washer scheduled for European launch this year and a premium dryer that achieves an A-grade rating under the latest standards were also shown. Both feature AI Wash and AI Dry, which automatically detect fabric types.
Another notable product is the LG Fit & Max French-door refrigerator, which features a Zero Clearance design and a 6.8-inch LCD display. It includes a Full Convert Drawer for flexible storage and Dual FRESHConverter+ with independently controlled compartments. The model has won 2026 iF and Red Dot Design Awards.
The LG Fit & Max dishwasher offers a 1-Hour Wash & Dry cycle. It uses QuadWash Pro with micro-bubbles for better detergent penetration, and Hybrid Air Dry to shorten drying time and reduce energy use. AI SenseClean adjusts water, cycle, and detergent based on a turbidity sensor, and key models achieve an A-grade energy rating.
LG also introduced its first hair dryer, the LG AirDew, which weighs about as much as a cup of coffee. LG credits its patented Triple Airfluidics technology for fast airflow, and says an AirGlide brush effect and temperature control help retain moisture. The dryer includes a patented Rotating Plug for easier connection, magnetic nozzles, and a Luxury Combo Case.
Finally, the next-gen LG SIGNATURE Downdraft Hood features a motion sensor for touch-free control of extraction power, with a minimalist front-glass design. LG has also integrated its Robot Business Division into its home solutions unit.
No pricing or availability details were announced for most products, and specific launch dates for the refrigerator, dishwasher, hair dryer, and hood were not given. The washer is the only one given launch timing, which LG sets for Europe this year.
Rival exhibitors at IFA 2026, among them Hisense, Haier, and Changhong, issued their own announcements the same week covering AI-focused appliances and smart home ecosystems.
