Jotform is bringing its form-building platform directly into ChatGPT. The company is launching a new app in OpenAI's ChatGPT App Directory that lets users create, edit, and analyze forms using natural language prompts, all without leaving the conversation.

The integration means ChatGPT users can now describe the form they need in plain English and have Jotform generate it on the spot. Need a customer feedback survey with conditional logic and a file upload field? Just ask. The app handles the design, structure, and configuration based on the prompt. Users can then refine the form through follow-up messages, adjusting questions, adding fields, or changing the layout through conversation.

"As the most AI-forward online form platform, we couldn't imagine a better app in ChatGPT," said Aytekin Tank, founder and CEO of Jotform. "This new Jotform app in ChatGPT makes working with forms feel as easy as having a conversation."

Beyond form creation, the app also pulls in existing form responses. Users can retrieve submission data directly inside ChatGPT, presented in organized tables, and ask follow-up questions about trends, patterns, or specific entries. For teams that rely on form data for decision-making, this removes the step of switching between platforms to check results.

The launch comes as OpenAI continues expanding its ChatGPT App Directory, which opened to developers in December 2025 with integrations from Spotify, DoorDash, and Apple Music among the early entries. The directory allows third-party services to plug directly into ChatGPT's interface, and for productivity tools like Jotform, it offers a new distribution channel that reaches users where they already spend time.

For Jotform, the timing aligns with a broader AI push. The San Francisco-based company, which serves over 35 million users worldwide, launched its own AI Agents product in February 2025, enabling users to build customizable AI-powered support workflows across channels including Gmail, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Earlier this month, Jotform introduced Jotform AI, a conversational interface that transforms the traditional drag-and-drop form builder into an AI-powered assistant. The ChatGPT app brings that same capability to OpenAI's platform.

Founded in 2006, Jotform has been bootstrapped from the start. The company has never taken outside funding and has grown to more than 800 employees, building a platform that handles everything from simple contact forms to complex workflow automation, payment collection, and e-signatures.

The Jotform app launches in the ChatGPT App Directory on March 31.
