Master Chief is coming back to Xbox Game Pass, and he's bringing an unusually deep bench of day-one titles with him.
Halo: Campaign Evolved, a ground-up Unreal Engine 5 remake of the original 2001 classic, launches July 28 as a day-one release. The package includes a three-mission prequel, Operation: METEORITE, starring Chief and Sergeant Johnson, plus the return of space combat for the first time since Halo: Reach.
It does not include multiplayer. The remake bookends what may be the most packed single month in the service's recent history. At least seven titles have confirmed July dates, with several more expected when Microsoft publishes its Wave 1 roadmap on July 7.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 hits the Premium tier July 2, a year after debuting on Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Winds of Arcana: Ruination, a 2.5D metroidvania with elemental spell customization, follows July 6 across Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC.
Palworld exits early access and drops its full 1.0 version July 10, bringing new Pals, a new region, and a more fleshed-out narrative to the viral survival sandbox already on Game Pass.
July 13 brings Ascend to Zero, a time-bending cyberpunk roguelike where players have 30 seconds to rewrite fate, with combat that freezes time and reclaims seconds with each enemy struck. It's a day-one release.
Denshattack!, a Jet Set Radio-style arcade skater with a train twist, arrives July 15 after a brief delay. Fogpiercer, a deck-building roguelite from Slovakia's Mad Cookies Studio, pulls in July 17. The Planet Crafter, a terraforming survival title that launched on PC in April 2024, makes its console debut on Xbox Series X|S as a day-one offering July 21.
Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction RPG from Skystone Games, rounds out the month July 29.
Two more titles are confirmed for July without locked-in dates: Wuthering Waves, the open-world gacha RPG, arrives with Game Pass-exclusive perks, and Speedrunners 2: King of Speed brings eight-player chaotic racing to the platform.
Eight titles exit the library on June 30, including Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Unpacking, Slay the Spire, and Payday 2.
