How to block contacts on Viber: From the chat info screen
Here is how you can block contacts on Viber from the chat info screen. Follow the steps below:
- Open Viber app on your Android or iOS device
- Now open the chat with the person you want to block
- Tap on three dots in the top-right corner
- Tap Chat info
- Scroll down and tap Block this contact
How to block contacts on Viber: From the inside of the block list
Here is another way to block contacts on Viber:
- Open Viber app on your Android or iOS device
- Tap on More in the bottom-right corner of the screen
- Tap Settings
- Next, tap Privacy
- Tap Block list
- Tap on the + in the top-right corner
- You will see the list of contacts
- Go through the list and add the contacts you wish to block
- Or, you can enter the name or number at the top of the screen to find the contacts you want to block.
That’s it. These are two methods you can use to block contacts on Viber. If you want to unblock the contacts later, just go to Settings > Privacy > Block list. Find the contact you want to remove from the block list by tapping Unblock right next to the person’s name.
