Zillow has added a connector to Claude that lets users search for homes to buy or rent and estimate their housing budgets inside the AI assistant. Available now, the integration displays property listings, maps users can interact with and estimates of home values. Users can also ask for a property tour, contact an agent or look into financing during the conversation.
To enable it, users open the Customize section in Claude, choose Connectors and connect Zillow. They can then describe the property they want through specific criteria, such as a purchase budget, bedroom count and a garage, or a monthly rent limit and city. Property results show prices and photos, with links that take users to Zillow for further details.

The integration covers both purchases and rentals, while Zillow’s existing Gemini experience focuses on rentals. Zillow also already has an experience in ChatGPT, adding Claude to the AI platforms where people can access its housing technology. For Claude users, Zillow says the available next steps include connections to real estate agents and loan officers.
Zillow says it does not transfer data to Anthropic for this experience. Instead, an MLS-approved display belonging to Zillow appears inside Claude. That display retains the broker credits and MLS attribution that users would see on Zillow.com.
Behind the connector are Zillow’s proprietary information, media, custom AI models and tools for connecting customers to housing professionals and services. The company says those resources reflect two decades spent developing technology across renting, home purchases, sales and financing. It describes that specialized housing foundation as a way to help people navigate the decisions involved in moving.
The technology also supports Zillow AI mode in the Zillow app, where housing information is combined with a user’s preferences to provide personalized guidance. Zillow says its approach to developing and deploying AI includes reviews for fair housing concerns conducted by its ethical AI team. It has also made its Fair Housing Classifier available as open source to help detect potential bias in conversations about real estate.
