Salesforce and Google Cloud are widening a strategic partnership aimed at stitching together enterprise data, AI agents and applications that today sit in separate silos. Under the arrangement, Salesforce will run on Google Cloud infrastructure so that agents can share data without the custom integrations companies usually build themselves. Hyperforce on Google Cloud is already handling live production customer traffic, according to the announcement.

The rollout starts with a limited group. Salesforce begins migrating select U.S. customers in the fourth quarter of 2026, and Hyperforce on Google Cloud reaches general availability in North America in November 2026. Features and regions expand in phases through 2027, with Germany named as one of the markets. No pricing was disclosed for any of the announced capabilities.

Google Cloud is among the first hyperscalers to implement Salesforce's headless architecture, which exposes thousands of Salesforce capabilities to any model, agent or interface. That architecture is built on the Model Context Protocol open standard. Salesforce capabilities are now available inside Gemini Enterprise without custom integration, covering tasks such as pipeline health checks, account summaries and case triage across Sales, Service, Finance and Advertising workflows.

On the model side, Gemini models are used natively within Agentforce for autonomous agents and power both Prompt Builder and the Agentforce Reasoning Engine. The Agentforce Reasoning Engine with Gemini is generally available now, and the Agentforce Sales Agent for Gemini Enterprise is in beta on Google Cloud Marketplace. A Salesforce Federated Connector for Gemini is in private preview, with general availability planned for late October.

Tableau analytics can connect to Gemini Enterprise so agent responses draw on governed data. Each Tableau MCP query enforces governance, row-level security and semantic models. The two companies are also extending their Data 360 and Google BigQuery Zero Copy data sharing, which already works today, to additional Salesforce and Google regions. That expansion reaches general availability in Fall 2026, and the companies are adopting Iceberg Rest Catalog open standards and enabling Private Connect for interoperability.

Commerce is part of the deal too. A catalog feed integration with Google is generally available now, and integration with the Universal Commerce Protocol reaches general availability in October 2026. Starting this Fall, shoppers will be able to discover and purchase within Google Search, AI Mode and the Gemini app, with Commerce Cloud powering checkout on those surfaces. A field-mapping interface in Business Manager handles catalog data, and UCP-powered checkout keeps payments, compliance and order management on existing commerce infrastructure. SharkNinja is among the joint customers already using the integrations.

The move follows Google's pitch of a unified AI stack at Cloud Next 26, where Vertex AI was rebranded as the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Agentspace was absorbed into it. Google Cloud held roughly 11% of the cloud infrastructure market and exited Q4 2025 with 50% year-on-year growth. Salesforce, for its part, added seven Agentforce agents earlier this month, six of them generally available and one, Hunter, in pilot, without disclosing pricing.

What the announcement does not address is how the two companies will split revenue from the joint capabilities, and it leaves the timing of broader international availability beyond the named 2027 expansion open.
