Salesforce has introduced a new set of AI agents it describes as job-ready, aimed at work the company considers high value across sales, service, commerce, employee experience and the back office. Six of the seven agents are generally available right now, while the outbound sales agent Hunter is in pilot and is scheduled to reach general availability in November 2026. Salesforce did not disclose pricing for any of the agents or the supporting capabilities.

The agents are named Casey, Paige, Carter, Hunter, Marshall, Piper and Fin, and each can be renamed by customers to match their own branding. Casey handles customer issues over voice, SMS, WhatsApp and web chat, while Paige takes on IT and HR requests through Slack and portals. Carter supports shoppers as they discover and compare products and can complete a purchase inside the chat, and Piper works inbound leads from first contact through qualification and conversion. Marshall coordinates back-office supply chain processes and keeps an audit record, and Fin, the customer agent Salesforce gained through its acquisition of Fin, formerly Intercom, resolves complex service workflows across channels. Fin runs on the Operator agent and on custom Fin Apex models.

All of the agents draw on Customer 360 for customer context and processes, and Salesforce says they operate inside each customer's own business rules, permissions and security setup. The company also introduced Agent Script, an open-source language that mixes AI reasoning with deterministic rules, plus a long-horizon runtime that lets agents pursue goals over days or weeks rather than a single session. Hunter is the first agent built on that runtime, with more planned over time and customers able to build their own. The runtime includes memory, durable execution and dynamic steering.

Alongside the agents, Salesforce said Multi-Agent Orchestration, which routes work between agents, is generally available now. AI Skills in Agentforce Coworker is in pilot and is slated for general availability in October 2026, and Agent Optimizer reaches general availability the same month. The company reported 7 billion Agentic Work Units delivered across Agentforce and Slack, with 3.2 billion of those in the second quarter alone.

Salesforce pointed to early customer results to make its case. Engine reports that its help agent Eva fully resolves half of the chat inquiries it receives, and Perk says its outbound agent Hunter builds 60 percent of its sales pipeline. Autism Queensland says its employee service agent Paige resolves 70 percent of administrative requests, and Hibbett says its AI handles 90 percent of core shopper journeys after going live in six weeks. Asana credits Piper with quadrupling conversation volume, and Piper deployments average 45 days, according to the announcement. Anthropic reports that Fin resolves 79 percent of the conversations it sees without human help.

The launch follows Salesforce's completion of its acquisition of Fin, which brought the Fin customer agent platform and its technical AI team into the company. It also comes a day after Salesforce said its Agentforce 360 portfolio, Slack included, would power FIDE chess events under a title sponsorship and technology partnership. Earlier this year, Agentforce had closed more than 29,000 deals and reached an $800 million annual recurring revenue run rate.

Salesforce notes that some features referenced in the announcement are unreleased and still in development. The company did not state any regional limits on where the agents can be used.
