Razer has introduced the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro, an ergonomic gaming mouse with 14 customizable controls and support for 8,000 Hz polling over wireless and wired connections. Its redesigned scroll wheel adds a finer tactile setting, while the mouse weighs 12 g less than its predecessor. The launch also includes the Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed and the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro, but pricing has not been disclosed.

Razer rates the Pro model for up to 200 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 when polling at 1,000 Hz, rather than its maximum 8,000 Hz setting. The Bluetooth 6.2 battery rating reaches up to 275 hours, and users can pair as many as three devices through Bluetooth. The Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed weighs 94 g, offers 12 customizable controls and carries a battery rating of up to 140 hours.

The Pro retains the Basilisk thumb rest, with the multi-function trigger repositioned for a reach Razer describes as more natural. A third side button and an M1 edge button expand its controls, while Razer Hypershift lets users assign secondary functions. Through Razer Synapse, players can create macros and have control profiles change when an associated game starts.

The Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 offers Precision Tactile mode with 48 steps, compared with 24 in Tactile mode. Smart-Reel changes automatically between tactile scrolling and Free-Spin according to scrolling speed, with adjustments available through Razer Synapse. Virtual Acceleration provides five levels for increasing scrolling speed as users turn the wheel faster.

The Razer Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3 supports up to 50,000 DPI, with specifications of 930 IPS and 90 G acceleration. Razer says Frame Sync coordinates sensor scans with polling to reduce motion latency and improve battery efficiency. Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 carry a 100-million-click rating and have 12% lighter actuation.

The Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro charges the mouse magnetically and incorporates an 8,000 Hz transceiver. Compatible Razer keyboards and mice can share its connection through Razer HyperSpeed Multi-Device Support. The dock has eight lighting zones and a charging indicator, while the Pro mouse has seven Razer Chroma RGB zones with underglow.

Earlier this week, Razer introduced the Razer Wolverine V4 Pro and the wired Razer Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition with capacitive thumbstick sensors. Those controllers support polling at up to 8,000 Hz on PC, while XBOX Series X|S support reaches 250 Hz.
