Prime Gaming Free Games This Month

Amazon's August Free Games with Prime lineup contains nine PC games, and all nine have reached their announced release dates. The latest additions are Havendock through the Amazon Games App and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos through the Epic Games Store, both added August 27.

Amazon now presents this monthly benefit under Luna as Free Games with Prime. The official August announcement says Prime members receive nine newly added PC games to claim and add to their libraries.

Open the Free Games with Prime claim page, sign in, and read each offer tile before redeeming. The claim page loads only with JavaScript enabled and signs you in before showing live tiles, so the official monthly announcement is used here as the source of record for the lineup and release schedule.

Three of the biggest claims this month

Steelrising leads VGC's coverage of the August list, and Havendock and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos are the two newest additions. There is no single launcher for the entire list. Prioritize the games whose redemption method is already set up on your PC, then return for the rest. The claim page supplies the exact account-linking or code instructions for each offer.

The official Steelrising store page identifies it as a Windows action RPG with cloud saves. Its campaign centers on fighting Louis XVI's mechanical army as Aegis.

The developer's Havendock store listing describes a single-player colony simulation built around resource collection, construction, farming, settlers, automation, and ocean exploration. The Prime version is delivered through Amazon's launcher, not Steam.

The official Epic listing confirms a Windows single-player action adventure with cloud saves. Its combat uses multiple martial-arts styles, and a dice ritual can alter the rules before a fight.

The rest of the lineup by launcher

GOG receives Right and Down, Hiveswap Friendsim, and Pyramids and Aliens: Escape Room. Airship: Kingdoms Adrift and Steelrising go to Epic Games Store, while Clash: Artifacts of Chaos joins them on August 27.

Spray Paint Simulator and Havendock use the Amazon Games App. Royal Romances: Forbidden Magic is labeled 3P in Amazon's official list, meaning the claim flow uses a third-party delivery path shown on the offer tile. Do not assume a code belongs in GOG or Epic without reading those instructions.

Amazon's list does not publish a single universal expiration date for all nine offers. Check the countdown on every tile and finish the redemption before that tile expires. An announced release date tells you when an offer arrives, not how long it remains claimable.

How Free Games with Prime works

Amazon's official claiming guide says Prime members can access games and in-game content at no additional cost. Sign in with the Amazon account that has Prime, open an offer, select Claim, and follow the delivery instructions.

Some offers require linking the Amazon account to another publisher or launcher account. Others provide a code. Amazon says the offer page tells the member how to access the item after a successful claim.

For games delivered through Amazon, install the Amazon Games App, sign in, open Library, and choose the title under Ready to Install. Amazon's guide says previous claims, codes, and delivery status can be reviewed through My Collection.

The current benefit includes claimed PC games and a separate rotating Luna streaming library. Amazon's August post says the nine PC games are in addition to the Luna Standard lineup, so a cloud-streaming title should not be mistaken for a downloadable PC claim.

Amazon's help page for PC downloadable games says to visit the claims page, select the offer, and follow each offer's unique instructions, and notes that offers may vary by country. The US-facing August announcement is used here, so readers in another region should confirm the local claim page.

VGC's independent report on the August lineup explains that the PC games are redeemed to other stores or Amazon's launcher and remain in the player's library after Prime is canceled. Finish the actual redemption while the offer is active.
