Nintendo has confirmed its Gamescom 2026 lineup, with the company hosting free playable demos at the Cologne event running August 26-30. The roster mixes Switch 2 exclusives with third-party titles, putting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and 007 First Light front and center for attendees to try on Nintendo's hybrid console.
The full playable list includes EA Sports FC 27, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Orbitals, Pokemon Pokopia (Expansion Pass), and Splatoon Raiders alongside the two headliners, per Nintendo Everything's breakdown. That gives the booth a broad spread across sports, RPG, and action genres rather than a single-publisher showcase.
Modern Warfare 4 arrives with some story weight behind it. The campaign picks up after Sledgehammer Games' Modern Warfare 3, with Captain Price hunting Makarov following Soap MacTavish's death, and fans will see it in action as pre-orders begin and the beta gets underway.
Nintendo's presence at the show marks its first full lineup reveal for the event after weeks of silence.
