Meta has launched a subscription service called Meta One, which gathers paid tiers for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI into one offering with more than 50 features. The company says the service is available globally, and that the free core experience across its apps is unchanged. Meta AI also stays free for everyday use.

The cheapest way in is a single product plan at $2.99 a month, and individual bundles begin at $7.99 a month. Buying one app on its own costs $3.99 a month for Instagram Plus, $2.99 a month for WhatsApp Plus and $3.99 a month for Facebook Plus. The Core bundle is $7.99 a month, while Premium runs $19.99 a month. Core and Premium are the tiers that add compute-intensive AI usage.

Business pricing starts higher. The Essential plan begins at $14.99 a month, Advanced at $49.99 a month, Expert at $149 a month and Max at $499 a month. Meta says Expert and Max give teams operating at scale the widest feature access and the most capacity for Meta Business Agent. Meta adds that plans, pricing and availability can differ by region, app and account.

The paid tiers lean heavily on AI and self-expression. Media generation covers image creation, editing and video, with the videos powered by Muse models. Meta says that in early testing, Restyle on Instagram ranked among the top draws for new subscribers, and that more than half of bundle testers used its AI and expression tools. Instagram Plus adds custom fonts for DMs and Stories plus Story viewer notifications and DM previews, while Facebook Plus brings Messenger customization, Reels insights and super reactions extended to Reels and Feed.

WhatsApp Plus is set to test chat and media backup storage along with Focus Schedules, which mute chats. Creator and business plans run inside the existing apps, so there is no new account or app download required. Business accounts get an enhanced profile showing a website, locations and testimonials, a bold follow button on reels, and follow invitations sent automatically to engaged users. Meta also says access to Meta Business Agent is being expanded for customer replies.

Edits Plus is coming soon to Meta One, adding cloud storage and cross-device sync, and it will include use of an upcoming Edits assistant that analyzes Instagram insights and brainstorms ideas. On the business side, Essential includes a verified badge, a WhatsApp Business channel and impersonation protection pending verification. Advanced lets teams schedule stories up to 30 days ahead, put links in organic posts and reels, export analytics and give team members access without sharing passwords.

The launch follows Meta's September 8 announcement of Muse, a personal AI agent the company described as built for everyone, which runs on a Muse Secure VM and can be used in an app or in WhatsApp. Earlier this month, Muse Spark 1.3 arrived in Muse Code and the Meta Model API with coding and agentic improvements, though its API pricing was not disclosed. Meta's AI rollouts have also drawn pushback: an Instagram AI image feature was pulled after four days of backlash over its opt-out system, while the Muse Image generator stayed on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app.

Meta One does not replace the free versions of the apps, and the announcement gives no date for Edits Plus or the planned expansion to AI glasses.
