Mystic Leaks posted an official-looking render of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold on Telegram over the weekend, and the first clear look at Google's next foldable is a letdown. The image shows a phone that is nearly indistinguishable from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, raising questions about what Google has planned for its August 12 Made by Google event in New York. The leaked render reveals the "Pine" colorway, a muted green paired with a light gold frame and matching gold "G" logo on the back.

The shade is expected to carry over to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL as well. But Pine is where the newness ends.

Google made minor adjustments to the camera module. The camera island is slightly narrower than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's, and the pill-shaped cutouts now stretch edge to edge with no excess metal. The LED flash, which sat outside the camera glass on the previous model, has been moved inside the left side of the upper pill cutout.

The autofocus sensor, previously positioned above the main cameras, now sits at the bottom alongside the main and ultrawide lenses. The telephoto shooter remains at the top-right. The flash itself appears larger than last year's, almost the size of a camera lens.

Some speculate this could relate to Pixel Glow, Google's rumored LED notification system that has been spotted on the Google Home Speaker and in a Googlebook showcase earlier this year. But there is no visible Pixel Glow indicator on the leaked Pixel 11 Pro Fold render, and 9to5Google noted it is unclear where such a light would fit. The rest of the design is unchanged.

The satin frame returns. The camera cutouts dominate the island in the same layout as before. 9to5Google called it "nearly identical" to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

What the render does not show is the thickness. Previous CAD renders and rumors suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be Google's thinnest foldable yet, measuring 10.1mm folded and 4.8mm unfolded. That would be an improvement over the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's 10.8mm folded and 5.2mm unfolded dimensions.

The device is also expected to pack a Tensor G6 chipset, a 4,800mAh battery, and a new primary rear camera sensor. But thinner and slightly tweaked camera hardware may not be enough. With Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 launching next week and Apple's first iPhone Fold reportedly on the horizon, Google's 2026 foldable is shaping up as a refinement year rather than a leap forward.

The absence of Pixel Glow in the leaked render only adds to the disappointment for those expecting a signature hardware addition. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be unveiled alongside the rest of the Pixel 11 lineup on August 12. Until then, the leaked render tells a simple story: Google is playing it safe with its next foldable.
