Xiaomi's upcoming 17T Pro specifications leaked via tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, revealing an 8500mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The device reportedly launches globally as a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Ultra.
The 17T Pro's 8500mAh battery represents a significant upgrade from the 15T Pro's 5500mAh capacity. It supports 100W wired fast charging, matching the charging speed of Xiaomi's premium 17 series models.
For comparison, the standard Xiaomi 17 features a 6330mAh battery in global markets.
MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset powers the device with a 1+3+4 core configuration. This includes one Ultra core clocked at 4.21GHz, three Premium cores at 3.5GHz, and four Pro cores at 2.7GHz. The processor pairs with an ARM G1-Ultra GPU for graphics performance.
Durability improvements include an IP69 water-resistant rating, surpassing the IP68 protection of previous T-series models. The device also features an enhanced X-axis linear motor and dual symmetrical stereo speakers.
These hardware changes position the 17T Pro as Xiaomi's most durable mid-range offering.
Global versions of Xiaomi's 2026 lineup face battery reductions compared to Chinese models. The standard Xiaomi 17 ships with a 6330mAh battery internationally, approximately 10% smaller than China's 7000mAh variant. Xiaomi 17 Ultra's European edition reportedly features a 6000mAh battery versus 6800mAh in China.
Pricing for Xiaomi's 2026 devices starts at €999 for the 12GB/256GB Xiaomi 17. The 12GB/512GB configuration costs €1,099, while the 17T Pro's pricing remains undisclosed. Xiaomi 17 Ultra launches at €1,499 for 16GB/512GB in European markets.
All three models debut before Mobile World Congress 2026 begins on March 2. The 17T Pro's exact release date will be confirmed in the coming months, according to Huawei Central sources.
