Hozy will arrive on PS5 on November 9, bringing a home restoration game with no timers or scores. The official announcement details DualSense feedback, a nine-level story and additional modes for decorating rooms.
Each space has its own story and atmosphere. Each level starts with cleaning and renovation before you place furniture and decorations. The available furnishings come from a curated selection for that level. Tools include a mop for floors and a crowbar for removing floorboards.
On PS5, haptic feedback accompanies actions such as mopping and positioning furniture. Adaptive triggers convey resistance as the crowbar removes floorboards, while the DualSense speaker adds sounds from whichever tool is being used.
Rooms also include objects you can interact with. Windows can be opened, lamps switched on and a piano played, while drawers can contain hidden messages. Objects, surfaces and instruments have individual sounds, and the music responds to progress within a level.
Completing the nine-level storyline brings further room variations through Game+. That mode lets players revisit restored houses, change between daytime and nighttime, and use different furniture selections.
Sandbox mode provides access to every in-game item. It supports mixing and duplicating items, with room customization covering wallpaper, background colour, window shapes, support beams and light switches.
Accessibility options include tool movement speed adjustments, camera inversion and colour display settings. Hozy supports 11 languages, and the announcement also points to playing it on PlayStation Portal.
Beyond those modes, the announcement outlines plans for seasonal events and DLC, including both free and paid additions.
