In web development, 3.7 Flash produces more functional layouts and feature-complete apps in fewer prompts, while knowledge-dense fields such as finance, law, and biosciences see improved reasoning and accuracy.
Pricing sits at an introductory $0.75 per 1 million input tokens and $3.75 per 1 million output tokens, roughly half the original 3.6 Flash cost per million tokens. That introductory rate runs through the end of the year, after which standard pricing applies.
Google says the combination of performance and cost lets developers scale production-ready agents economically.
The developer experience also gets attention, with Google describing noticeably improved behavior over 3.6 Flash. The model adapts better to roadblocks, clarifies intent when needed, follows instructions with greater fidelity, and puts more effort into multi-step planning and tool calls, reducing manual oversight and retries across engineering workflows.
Gemini Spark, Google's 24/7 personal agent available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in over 160 countries, runs on Gemini 3.7 Flash starting the same day. The update makes Spark more efficient for knowledge work with improved tool use for Google Workspace apps, letting it consolidate files, draft emails, and update status documents.
Developers can explore agent-first workflows in Google Antigravity or start building in the Gemini API via Google AI Studio and Android Studio. Enterprises gain access through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and the Gemini Enterprise app, while individuals reach the model through Spark in the Gemini app for Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Google also shipped updated safeguards against misuse in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear domains, plus cyber offense, while keeping beneficial use cases available.
