ASUS is opening global preorders on October 7 for the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 laptops and ProArt GR1X mini PC, with availability scheduled for October 16. The Windows machines use NVIDIA RTX Spark and offer up to 128GB of unified memory, with ASUS targeting creators and developers who want to run AI models on their computers. ASUS lists AI performance of up to 1 petaflop and plans multiple memory configurations.

ASUS previously showed the laptops and GR1X at IFA, when shipping was scheduled for fall 2026 in select regions. The laptops had first appeared at Computex 2026, where ASUS claimed reductions of up to 13% in thickness and 18% in weight against the previous generation.

For buyers choosing between the laptops, ProArt P16 measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg, while ProArt P14 measures 13.9mm and weighs 1.48kg. ProArt P16 offers display resolution up to 4K with NVIDIA G-SYNC, compared with up to 3K on ProArt P14. Both use ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays, offering peak brightness up to 1,600 nits, a variable 120Hz refresh rate and anti-reflection technology.

RTX Spark pairs an NVIDIA Grace CPU with an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU, using NVIDIA NVLink-C2C to connect them. ASUS says the hardware can handle local language models, image and video generation, model customization and complex 3D work, depending on model design, quantization, context length and available memory. The company says local execution avoids charges tied to token usage or individual generations and can keep prompts and project files on the device.

ASUS preloads MuseTree for local generative creation using FLUX and WAN, alongside StoryCube for recognizing scenes and organizing media. Its partnership with ComfyUI gives users visual tools for building AI workflows that agents such as Hermes can execute. Hermes, developed by Nous Research, can act across desktop applications, terminal sessions and local files, and connects to MuseTree through the dedicated Hermes Skill.

ASUS also offers Zenni Claw for everyday tasks, content management and control of its applications and devices. The PCs support cloud and hybrid workflows as well as local execution, with Adobe Creative Cloud bundles and a Google AI bundle for eligible ASUS laptops. ASUS identifies cloud services as an option for frontier-scale models and temporary additional computing capacity.
