Your printer is on, the document is ready, and the page still never comes out. The job may be stuck in the queue, the computer may be sending it to the wrong place, or the printer may not be on the same network as your device. Start with the quick checks, then move through the exact Windows, Mac, phone, Chromebook, and printer-brand fixes that match where printing fails.
1. Restart the printer before changing settings
A printer that looks awake can still have a stalled connection, so begin with the hardware.
