Change the zone in new Outlook or your browser
In new Outlook for Windows, Outlook.com, or Outlook on the web, open Settings, select Calendar, then choose View. Under Time zones, find Display my calendar in time zone and choose the zone you want. Enter an optional display name in Label, then select Save.
For a reminder when you travel, return to Settings > Calendar > View. Turn on the setting that reads "When I travel across time zones, ask me if I want to update my time zone", then select Save. This enables a prompt asking whether to update the zone, rather than an unconditional automatic change.
Change the zone in classic Outlook for Windows
In classic Outlook for Microsoft 365 or Outlook 2024 for Windows, select File > Options > Calendar. Under Time zones, choose the desired entry from Time zone. Enter an optional Label, then select OK.

For location-based selection on Windows 11, open Settings > Time & language > Date & time and turn on Set time zone automatically. With this setting on, Windows sets daylight saving time automatically.
Set the displayed zone and new event default on Mac
Changing your Mac’s time zone updates how Outlook displays calendar events. On current macOS, open the Apple menu > System Settings > General > Date & Time. Turn off Set time zone automatically using your current location, enter the desired city, and press Return.
For automatic selection, turn on Set time zone automatically using your current location. Location Services must be available for that option to work.
To choose the default for new events in the current Outlook for Mac settings layout, open Outlook > Settings. Under Calendar, select Work Schedule, then find Time zones. Under Default time zone for new events, choose Custom, then choose the desired zone under Always use this time zone. Alternatively, choose Sync to device to use the device zone for new events.
Change the device zone on iPhone or iPad
New Outlook mobile events inherit your device’s time zone. On iPhone or iPad with the Set Automatically layout, open Settings > General > Date & Time. Turn off Set Automatically, select Time Zone, and enter a city.
If your iPhone uses the iOS 27 controls in Settings, turn off Set Time Zone Automatically, select Time Zone City, and search for a city. Alternatively, select Set By > Time Zone Offset and use the + or - controls to choose the offset.
Change the device zone on Android
Outlook for Android uses the device zone for new events. On devices using Google’s Clock interface, open Clock > More > Settings, then select Change date & time > Time zone. If Set automatically is present, turn it off, then select Time zone and choose the desired zone.
For automatic selection, select Change date and time and enable Automatic time zone. Android manufacturers can use different labels for these controls.
Add another zone for comparison
Additional zones give you extra calendar columns to compare times. In new Outlook for Windows, Outlook.com, or Outlook on the web, open Settings > Calendar > View and select Add time zone. Choose a city under Other time zones, select Show in calendar, then select Save.
To rearrange existing additional zones in those versions, select Move up or Move down. Select Save after setting their order.
In classic Outlook for Microsoft 365 or Outlook 2024 for Windows, open File > Options > Calendar. Under Time zones, select Show a second time zone, choose its Time zone, and enter an optional Label. Select OK to apply it.

In new Outlook for Windows, Outlook.com, or Outlook on the web, open the event and select its time block. Select the Time zone globe button, choose the desired zone, and select Save or Send.
For a nonrecurring event in classic Outlook for Microsoft 365 or Outlook 2024 for Windows, open it and select Time zones. Change the zone, then save or send the update. If the zone selectors are missing, first open a new event and select Time zones, then return to the event you want to change.
In current Outlook for Mac, open the event and select Edit. Select the Time zone globe button, choose the zone, then select Save or Send.
Change the time zone for a recurring series
