Maybe your free trial is about to convert to a paid plan, and you do not want the charge. Maybe a promo rate is about to revert to full price, or you are simply trimming your streaming spend. Whatever the reason, you want billing to stop cleanly.

The single thing that trips people up: you must cancel through the same platform you originally paid through. If you subscribed in the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or Roku, the Paramount+ website will not have a cancel option for you; you cancel inside that store or account instead.

Below are the exact steps for every surface, quickest and most common first. Find where you signed up, follow that section, and you are done. One more thing worth knowing up front: deleting the app does not cancel anything, and cancelling does not refund a partial period.

First, Confirm Where You Subscribed

This determines everything. Cancelling in the wrong place does nothing to your billing.

  • Paid Paramount+ directly (card on file at paramountplus.com)? Use the website method.
  • Signed up through an app store (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku)? Cancel in that store.
  • Got it through a bundle (Walmart+, Xfinity, Verizon, T-Mobile)? Manage it in that partner's account.

If you are not sure, check which company appears on your charge or receipt. That company is who you cancel with.

Cancel on the Paramount+ Website (Direct Subscribers)

This is the route if Paramount bills you directly. It works from any desktop browser.

  1. 1.Go to paramountplus.com and sign in.
  2. 2.Click your username or profile (initials) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. 3.Select Account from the dropdown menu.
  4. 4.Scroll down to the subscription and billing area, then click Cancel Subscription.
  5. 5.Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. This typically includes a confirmation step, agreeing to a terms-of-cancellation checkbox, then a final confirmation.

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period or free trial, then it will not renew. If you subscribed through an app store or partner, this route will not apply; use that platform instead.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (Apple App Store)

If you tapped Subscribe inside the iOS app, Apple is your biller.

  1. 1.Open the Settings app.
  2. 2.Tap your name (Apple Account) at the top.
  3. 3.Tap Subscriptions.
  4. 4.Select Paramount+ from the list.
  5. 5.Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down), then confirm.

To stop a free trial from converting, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration date in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

Cancel on a Mac (Apple App Store)

Same Apple billing, different device path.

  1. 1.Open the App Store app on your Mac.
  2. 2.Click your name (or Sign In) in the bottom-left corner.
  3. 3.Click Account Settings.
  4. 4.Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
  5. 5.Click Paramount+ (or Edit next to it), then click Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Cancel on Apple TV (Subscribed via Apple)

  1. 1.Open Settings on your Apple TV.
  2. 2.Go to Users & Accounts and select your account.
  3. 3.Select Subscriptions.
  4. 4.Choose Paramount+.
  5. 5.Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Cancel on Android (Google Play)

If you subscribed through the Play Store, Google handles the billing.

  1. 1.Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. 2.Tap your profile icon in the top-right.
  3. 3.Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  4. 4.Select Paramount+ from your list.
  5. 5.Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.

You keep access for the time already paid, and it will not renew. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Cancel via the Web for Google Play Subscribers

No Android device handy? Use a browser.

  1. 1.Go to play.google.com and sign in with the Google account used to subscribe.
  2. 2.Open Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. 3.Select Paramount+.
  4. 4.Click Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Access continues through the period you already paid for.

Cancel on Roku (Subscribed Through Roku Pay)

Roku cancellation starts right from the home screen, not inside the app.

  1. 1.From the Roku home screen, highlight the Paramount+ channel tile (do not open it).
  2. 2.Press the * (Star/Options) button on your remote.
  3. 3.Select Manage subscription.
  4. 4.Select Cancel subscription and confirm.

If you do not see Manage subscription, the Roku account on the device is not the one that purchased it, or you subscribed elsewhere; cancel through that provider instead. You can also sign in at my.roku.com, open Manage your subscriptions, find Paramount+, and cancel there.

Cancel on Amazon Fire TV (Amazon Appstore)

For Fire TV app-store subscriptions, you turn off auto-renewal rather than deleting anything.

  1. 1.Go to amazon.com and sign in (a web browser is easiest).
  2. 2.Open your Amazon App Store Subscriptions page (Account & Lists, then App Store Subscriptions).
  3. 3.Find Paramount+ and select Actions next to it.
  4. 4.Select Turn off auto-renewal and confirm (you may need to confirm twice).

Deleting the app from your Fire TV does not cancel it; you must turn off auto-renewal here.

Cancel a Paramount+ Prime Video Channel

If you added Paramount+ as a channel inside Prime Video, Amazon bills it, so you cancel it under your memberships.

  1. 1.Go to amazon.com and sign in via a web browser.
  2. 2.Click Account & Lists (top-right) and choose Memberships & Subscriptions.
  3. 3.Under Prime Video Channels, find Paramount+.
  4. 4.Click Cancel Channel next to it and confirm.

After the end date you are no longer charged and lose access to that channel. You cannot cancel this from the Paramount+ app because Amazon is the biller.

Cancel Through Xfinity

If Paramount+ was added through your Xfinity account, manage it where Xfinity bills it, either on your Xfinity streaming device or from your account at xfinity.com. On a current X1 TV Box or Flex/Xumo Stream Box, the option lives under Settings in the apps and subscription management area; open Settings, find the apps and subscriptions section, select Paramount Plus, and choose the option to cancel or unsubscribe. Menu names can change between devices and updates, so confirm the exact wording on the current Xfinity support page or in your on-screen menus. Use this route only if Paramount+ is billed through Xfinity.

Cancel a Walmart+ Bundle Benefit

When Paramount+ comes free with Walmart+, it is tied to that membership rather than billed by Paramount.

  • Sign in to your Walmart account or Walmart+ membership settings.
  • Manage the Paramount+ benefit there.
  • Ending Walmart+ ends the included Paramount+ access. You do not cancel this on the Paramount+ website.

Verizon and T-Mobile add-ons work the same way: manage them through that partner's own account, not Paramount+.

Cancel From a Game Console or Unsupported Platform

PlayStation, Xbox, VIDAA, and similar platforms do not offer in-app cancellation. If Paramount bills you directly, cancel on the website.

  1. 1.Go to paramountplus.com and sign in.
  2. 2.Click your initials/profile (top-right) and open Account.
  3. 3.Scroll to and select Cancel Subscription, then confirm.

If the subscription was purchased through a store, cancel in that store instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose access the moment I cancel?
No. You keep access until the end of your current billing period or the end of your free trial, then access ends at the next renewal date.

Does cancelling get me a refund for unused time?
Paramount+ does not refund partial billing periods. This applies to both monthly and annual plans; annual subscribers keep access until the prepaid term ends but are not prorated. For store-billed subscriptions (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku), any refund request goes to that store, which has its own policy.

I uninstalled the app. Am I cancelled?
No. Deleting or uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription on any platform. You must cancel through the account or store that bills you.

Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Paramount+ has no pause option. Cancellation is the only way to stop billing.

On Apple, there is no Cancel button. What does that mean?
If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

If I cancel now, can I get the same promo price when I come back?
Resubscribing means going through the full payment process again, and first-time-subscriber promo pricing may no longer be available (often not eligible again within a year). Grandfathered pricing typically does not transfer.
