Why This Matters

A reversible motor lets you switch between downward and upward airflow modes for different seasons, which can help with air circulation year round. The DC motor uses pure copper construction, which the listing says supports low-noise operation, and the fan reaches a maximum 1,020 RPM with maximum airflow of 587 CFM. Six wind speeds let you choose a lower or higher setting as conditions change. A timed off function offers one, two, four, or eight hour settings, so the fan can shut off without manual intervention.

What You're Getting

The fixture accommodates four E26 base bulbs, which are not included, and it is compatible with LED, CFL, or incandescent bulbs up to 40W each. The compatible bulb shape code is ST64, a detail worth checking before buying bulbs. The light kit, canopy, blades, and shade are included, and the blades are removable. The fan is rated for dry locations only, so it should not be installed in damp or wet areas. The caged metal and wood design is a visual choice to weigh against your room's decor.

Who This Is For

This fan suits buyers who want a compact, flush mount fixture with a remote for a bedroom, study, office, or small living room. The dry location rating makes it a poor match for bathrooms, covered porches, or other damp or wet areas. Because the bulbs are not included, plan to purchase four E26 bulbs in the ST64 shape and stay within the 40W per bulb limit. The reversible motor and multiple speeds may appeal to households that want seasonal airflow adjustment from a single fixture.

Final Verdict

At the listed price, this fan offers a remote controlled light and fan combination with a reversible motor, multiple speeds, and a timer. The main considerations are the dry location restriction, the separate purchase of four bulbs, and the caged wood design, which may or may not suit your space. If those points align with your needs, the listed previous price comparison makes this a reasonable option to evaluate.
