Sunseeker Elite has brought its range of wire-free robot lawn mowers to Equip Expo 2026, which runs October 20 to 23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Visitors can find the brand at Indoor Booth #1190 and Outdoor Demo Area #7460D.

Sunseeker Elite is the premium robotic lawn care brand of Sunseeker, which has more than 16 years of experience in outdoor power equipment. Its show is built around the move from garden tools to robots that map a yard on their own, steer around obstacles and handle slopes with little day-to-day attention. Four mowers make up the lineup, from the $1,399 X4 for home lawns to the X9 Series for estates and sports fields.

X9 / X9 Plus$5,899 / $6,999AONavi 2.0 with 360-degree OmniSight cameras90% (42 degrees)

X9 Series, built for estates and sports fields

The X9 and X9 Plus sit at the top of the range and are aimed at large properties and professional grounds care. Sunseeker rates the X9 for 3 acres and the X9 Plus for 6 acres, each over 48 hours, and lists football fields, estate lawns, municipal parks and the rough areas of golf courses among their uses.

Both use AONavi 2.0 navigation, which needs no antenna station and adds 4G, alongside what Sunseeker calls the 360-degree OmniSight 24h system: eight cameras and eight sensors around the body for obstacle avoidance and edge tracking. An infrared night vision module is designed to pick out animals in the dark, and Sunseeker says the X9 is the first robot mower with infrared night vision.

The drive system pairs all-wheel drive with four-wheel suspension, six brushes that keep the tires clear of debris and active steering on both rear wheels. Sunseeker rates it for slopes of up to 90%, or 42 degrees, and for crossing obstacles up to 2 inches high. Its floating 17-inch dual cutting discs run on a pair of 190W motors, and cutting height adjusts from 0.8 to 4 inches. The EdgeZero trimming attachment cuts with zero distance into right-angle corners and along the base of high fences. It is standard on the X9 Plus and optional on the X9.

The X9 Plus charges in 20 minutes at 17A, against 50 minutes at 7A for the X9, and a fleet management website lets landscapers and facility managers run several mowers from one account.

X7 Gen 2 and X7 Plus Gen 2, for lawns up to 1.5 acres

The X7 Gen 2 ($2,499) and X7 Plus Gen 2 ($2,999) cover lawns of up to 1.5 acres with no boundary wire and no antenna to install. AONavi 2.0 combines network RTK for centimeter-level positioning with VSLAM 2.0 visual mapping from a binocular and iToF camera system, so the mower keeps its place under trees and in other spots where satellite signals are blocked. A 4G-GPS module is standard, and Sunseeker says the upgraded 10 TOPS AI chip doubles processing power for quicker responses when mowing and avoiding obstacles.

Vision AI 2.0 uses the binocular camera by day and the iToF camera at night, and Sunseeker says it recognizes obstacles such as trampolines and swings. A tri-wheel all-wheel drive system with independent suspension, a self-steering rear wheel and 8.7-inch off-road front wheels is rated for slopes of 70%, or 35 degrees. The floating 14-inch dual cutting discs carry six blades, and the target cutting height, from 0.8 to 4 inches, is set from the phone. Spot mowing, edge-following runs and multi-angle stripe patterns are all in the app.

X5 Gen 2, for lawns up to half an acre

The X5 Gen 2 brings the same AONavi 2.0 navigation, Vision AI 2.0 cameras and 10 TOPS chip to yards of up to 0.5 acre for $1,999. It also uses tri-wheel all-wheel drive with independent suspension and a self-steering rear wheel, rated for slopes of 60%, or 30 degrees. A floating cutting disc follows uneven ground, and a separate micro-blade edge disc cuts as close as 1.2 inches to borders.

Like the X7 Gen 2, it offers spot mowing, edge-following and multi-angle patterns, an efficient cutting mode that splits the yard into zones, rain detection, Alexa and Google Assistant support, and 4G-GPS anti-theft tracking with geofencing and boundary alerts. The network RTK and 4G service is included for 24 months on the X5 Gen 2, and for 24 or 60 months on the X7 Gen 2 models, then renews at $49 a year.

X4, LiDAR mowing with nothing to install

The $1,399 X4 reaches the same wire-free goal a different way. Instead of satellite positioning, it uses a 360-degree 3D LiDAR that captures more than 210,000 points per second, combined with Vision AI and an L-SLAM mapping system running on a 10 TOPS chip. There is no boundary wire or antenna station: Sunseeker calls it drop and go, with setup done in the app.

The LiDAR, an AI camera and a bumper work together for obstacle avoidance across a 360 by 70-degree field of view, including low-profile objects, by day and at night. The X4 builds a 3D map of the yard, plans striped mowing paths, splits complex lawns into zones and stays out of no-go areas such as pools and patios. It fits through passages narrower than 70 cm (about 27.5 inches), climbs slopes of 45%, or 24 degrees, with rear-wheel drive and rear suspension, and cuts a 20 cm (7.9-inch) path with six blades at heights from 0.8 to 2.4 inches.

What visitors can see in Louisville

Inside the booth, an interactive technology area shows live camera images from the mowers, so visitors can see a lawn the way the robot does, with explanations of how it navigates and plans its path. Outside at the demo area, the X7 Gen 2 and X4 run on slopes and changing terrain to show how they handle inclines.

The open-sided booth also traces Sunseeker's path from garden tools to robotics on a timeline, and the brand's partnership with the Philadelphia Phillies adds a baseball-themed robot demo area and an outdoor pitching game with prizes.

Equip Expo 2026 runs through October 23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Sunseeker Elite is at Indoor Booth #1190 and Outdoor Demo Area #7460D, and the full lineup is on the Sunseeker Elite US site.
