Sony's FlexStrike fight stick arrives August 6, the same day as its own Marvel fighting game -- a coordinated one-two punch at the competitive scene that includes the company's first wireless arcade stick, a 27-inch gaming monitor, and desktop speakers. The $199.99 FlexStrike is PlayStation's first wireless fight stick, built for PS5 and PC. It ships with a sling carry case and a built-in rechargeable battery, targeting tournament players who need portability.

Pre-orders open June 12 at 10 AM ET. There's a catch: PC support won't be ready at launch. Sony says compatibility will roll out after August 6, expanding to more users over time.

Initially, the stick works only on PS5. The 27-inch Gaming Monitor arrives August 27 at $349.99, with pre-orders starting June 5 through PlayStation Direct and Best Buy. The QHD IPS panel (2560x1440) supports VRR and hits 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, or up to 240Hz on compatible PCs and Macs. The monitor's defining feature is a pop-out DualSense Charging Hook on the back, letting players hang and charge a controller without taking up desk space. It's a small detail aimed at the growing number of players gaming on desktop setups rather than living room TVs.

Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, announced last September, are still without a release date or price. Sony says they will launch "later this year" and pair with the monitor for desktop audio. The speakers borrow audio tech from the Pulse Explore and Pulse Elite headsets.
