ASUS Republic of Gamers wrapped up its 20th anniversary celebration at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, where the brand showcased its latest gaming hardware and esports initiatives. The booth featured oversized installations of the ROG XBOX Ally X20 and ROG Zephyrus Duo, along with the Edition 20 collection in a black-and-gold design. The ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 offered a glimpse into the future of gaming laptops, according to the company.
Among the new products unveiled were the ROG Gladius IV Ace gaming mouse and an expansion of the ROG Ace OLED esports monitor family. The ROG Esports OLED 720Hz monitor was selected as the official display for the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026, a tournament that will mark the first Counter-Strike Major played on OLED screens. No pricing or availability details for these products were disclosed.
Attendees got hands-on with upcoming titles including Minecraft Dungeons II, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, and Monster Hunter Stories 3, as well as Cosmo Tales, Ascend to Zero, and TANUKI: Pon's Summer. DJ Alan Walker performed live and met fans, while actor Ned Luke made special appearances. The OMNI mascot was a popular photo attraction.
Esports was a central theme, with Team Vitality headlining competitions at the booth. ROG also partnered with GamerLegion, a professional esports organization known for its Counter-Strike teams, to strengthen its esports ecosystem. The company says its esports hardware is developed with feedback from professional players. A charity initiative with SpecialEffect supported gamers with disabilities through collectible bundles.
The company says visitors also joined giveaways, competitions and other interactive activities at the booth through the week.
The 720Hz refresh rate and OLED technology in the ROG Esports monitor are designed to deliver motion clarity, fast response, and high contrast, according to the company. The announcement did not give a date for the tournament, and ASUS framed the choice as a milestone for competitive play.
