Razer today introduced the Reclusa X Mini 65%, the first keyboard in its new Reclusa lineup, which the company pitches at buyers who may want to swap switches later. The compact 65% board is hot-swappable, meaning users can replace switches without soldering, and it comes pre-installed with Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3, which the company says deliver a tactile bump with quieter actuation.

Razer did not list a price or an availability date in the announcement. It features dual-layer silicone dampening inside the case to reduce resonance and hollow noise, plus durable doubleshot ABS keycaps with a tri-tone design. South-facing LEDs improve compatibility with aftermarket keycaps, and per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting offers 16.8 million colors.

For gamers, the Reclusa X Mini 65% includes Razer Snap Tap, Razer Snap Flex, and Dual-Keypress Priority, features aimed at giving players more control during fast-paced play. It also supports a wired 1000 Hz polling rate and works with Razer Synapse software.

Razer frames the Reclusa line around the philosophy of 'Your Board. Your Rules.', aiming to balance a satisfying first impression with room for personalization. Barrie Ooi, Head of PC Gaming Division at Razer, said in the announcement: 'The Reclusa X Mini 65% is our answer to enthusiasts who want a board that feels great from day one, and is still theirs to make their own.'
