Android Authority reports that the unannounced Pixel Watch 5 is now appearing as a selectable device inside the Google Health app, based on tipster screenshots shared before any official reveal.
The sighting places the Pixel Watch 5 at the top of the app’s device list. Selecting the entry opens a dedicated setup page, then a screen that asks the user to connect the watch to Google Health.
The flow is already present in the software even though Google has not announced the hardware.
Little else is disclosed in the interface. The Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Watch 4 appear to use the same artwork in both the device list and the setup screens.
That overlap suggests Google reused the older model’s image as a placeholder. The remaining copy in the screenshots reads like standard setup text rather than proof of new features.
Google Health itself does not reveal further equipment details for the watch. Separate product-image leaks have pointed to a design that stays close to the prior generation, though that remains unverified.
Google has scheduled its next hardware event for August 12, when the Pixel Watch 5 is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 11 series. Prior leaks have pointed to 41mm and 45mm sizes, with Wi-Fi and LTE versions of each.
A Google Play Console listing has also suggested the watch could move from 2GB to 3GB of RAM while keeping the same basic CPU and GPU configuration used on recent Pixel Watches.
Whether Google will add new sensors or health features is still unknown. The in-app appearance does show preparation inside an official Google product ahead of the expected August window, without confirming final specifications or pricing.
