Control Resonant, the new chapter in Remedy Entertainment's paranormal action series, is playable on GeForce NOW from its launch day, the service's operator says. The game casts players as Dylan Faden, who fights through a warped Manhattan while hunting for his sister, Federal Bureau of CONTROL Director Jesse Faden. Nvidia says Ultimate members who stream it avoid a 100GB local install, along with PC upgrades the company calls expensive.
The buying window attached to the game closes quickly. Anyone who purchases a 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate membership through Sunday, Sept. 27 gets Control Resonant at no extra cost under the Control Resonant Ultimate Membership Bundle. After that date the bundle is gone, Nvidia says.

Nvidia says Ultimate subscribers stream the title at GeForce RTX 5080-class cloud performance, including DLSS 4, ray tracing and Reflex, at up to 5K high dynamic range on supported devices. Combat revolves around Dylan's powers and the shifting forms of the Aberrant, described as his paranatural melee weapon, as he faces threats that have escaped the Oldest House and spread across the city.
Nvidia also says GeForce NOW support is coming soon to Googlebooks, Google's new laptop category that blends ChromeOS and Android and is the first built for Gemini Intelligence. The company has not given a date beyond saying availability details will follow later this year on its social channels. The addition would extend the cloud library to another device type without local installs, following the service's recent expansion onto new platforms.
Control Resonant is one of nine titles joining the service this week. DragonSword: Awakening, from Hound13, leads the group with an anime-style open world set on the continent of Orbis, where players build a team from 19 heroes and chain skills into tag-team combos. It is playable on Steam Decks, Firefox browsers and Amazon Fire TV devices.
The rest of the week's additions include Dune: Awakening, which arrived on Xbox on Sept. 22 and is available through Game Pass, along with six other Steam titles. Nvidia notes that listed dates reflect store releases and that GeForce NOW availability can lag, since games are onboarded after launch and added through the week.
Newcomers can try premium cloud gaming through a day pass before committing to a membership, and the cost of that pass can be put toward a first monthly subscription.
