Players face a substantial storage requirement, with Battle.net users reporting 174GB downloads and total updates approaching 200GB. File sizes vary by platform and installed content, with Warzone-only players seeing smaller updates.

The update introduces Yakei, a new small map set on neon-lit Japanese rooftops for 6v6 and 2v2 modes. Two classic Black Ops maps return: Meltdown from Black Ops 2 and Fringe from Black Ops 3, both receiving modern remasters.

Season 01 Reloaded includes a Fallout TV show crossover featuring operator skins for Lucy, The Ghoul, and Maximus characters. Both franchises operate under Microsoft ownership following the company's acquisition of Activision.

Two new weapons join the arsenal: the Hawker HX bolt-action sniper rifle and Sturmwolf 45 submachine gun. The Hawker HX represents a renamed version of Black Ops 2's Ballista, while the Sturmwolf 45 serves as a UMP45 variant.

Zombies mode receives Directed Mode for the Astra Malorum map, providing assistance for main story quest completion. The Zarya Cosmodrome location from Ashes of the Damned becomes a Survival map.

Black Ops 6 equipment migrates to Black Ops 7, including Shock Charge, Impact grenade, Thermal grenade, and Tactical Insertion field upgrade. Several Black Ops 6 scorestreaks also transfer to the newer title.

Warzone players encounter periodic anomalies appearing in unspecified locations, though Activision hasn't confirmed whether these affect one map or all three battle royale environments.

The update marks the official halfway point of Black Ops 7's first season, which launched December 4 with three new maps and Standoff remaster. Treyarch developed the content alongside Raven Software.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 maintains availability on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game originally launched November 14, 2025, with mixed critical reception averaging 66/100 on OpenCritic.
