Apple TV+ has become the most-awarded network at the 78th Emmy Awards, picking up 20 wins, which Apple calls a record, across the first two nights of the ceremony. The streamer's haul includes 18 wins on the second night and two on the first.
Leading the way was Widow's Bay, which took home eight awards, the most of any program. That includes Outstanding Guest Actress for Betty Gilpin and seven other craft awards. Other winners included Pluribus, Margo's Got Money Troubles, Palm Royale, and Mr. Scorsese. Pluribus won four awards, including Production Design and Editing, while Margo's Got Money Troubles took three for makeup, hairstyling, and costume. Palm Royale also won three, including Choreography and Period Costumes. Mr. Scorsese, which had already won for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series on the first night, contributed to the tally. Apple's commercial I'm Not Remarkable won Outstanding Commercial.
Apple says this is its best Emmy haul yet, citing 89 nominations spread over 15 programs. The company leads nominations in the Best Drama and Best Comedy categories. Widow's Bay received 19 nominations, Pluribus 18, Shrinking 10, Slow Horses nine, and Margo's Got Money Troubles eight.
Several shows are still in contention for top prizes at the Primetime ceremony on September 14, 2026. Widow's Bay, Shrinking, and Margo's Got Money Troubles are all nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, while Pluribus, Slow Horses, and Your Friends & Neighbors are up for Outstanding Drama Series. Notable acting nominees include Matthew Rhys for Widow's Bay, Rhea Seehorn for Pluribus, Jason Segel and Harrison Ford for Shrinking, Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, and Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer for Margo's Got Money Troubles. Vince Gilligan, creator of Pluribus, is nominated for Writing and Directing.
Apple Originals have now amassed 913 wins and 3,827 nominations to date.
