Adobe is adapting Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for NVIDIA RTX Spark, with NVIDIA claiming performance improvements of up to 2x across AI processing and tasks involving editing, effects and color. The superchip is scheduled to launch on Friday, October 16, bringing the collaboration’s desktop work alongside changes to cloud video processing and enterprise customer conversations.

The creative applications are being optimized to use RTX Spark’s unified memory and AI computing capabilities, according to NVIDIA. Adobe has also rebuilt Photoshop’s compositing around GPU processing, targeting quicker responses when users remove unwanted elements with Remove Tool or apply Gaussian Blur and Light Leaks on the canvas.

In Premiere, the work covers rendering and playback as well as color adjustments, effects and AI features, with NVIDIA citing speed improvements for Object Mask and Enhance Speech. NVIDIA also says RTX Spark accelerates particularly demanding texturing work in Substance 3D Painter. Those desktop performance claims sit alongside separate, preliminary Frame.io measurements drawn from selected transcoding and search workloads.

For Frame.io, early testing showed embedding generation running approximately five times faster, with P95 processing latency improving by a factor of four to five. The search proxy was also approximately 80% smaller. NVIDIA says the changes should reduce the wait before uploaded media can be searched and help larger libraries refresh more efficiently.

Frame.io’s revised processing system moves video decoding, preprocessing and embedding generation onto NVIDIA GPUs. It uses NVDEC to decode video through hardware acceleration, while TensorRT and CUDA support preprocessing and embedding creation for content discovery. The companies’ earlier partnership, announced in March, already included GPU work for Frame.io alongside enterprise projects involving Adobe Firefly Foundry and 3D digital twins.

For enterprise customers, a version of Brand Concierge optimized using NVIDIA Nemotron open models is due later this year. NVIDIA has chosen Brand Concierge for personalized conversations on NVIDIA.com, using organizational content and data to tailor customer interactions.

Adobe’s earlier marketing automation work included an expanded partnership with WPP announced on February 24, 2026, aimed at coordinating campaign planning, production and activation through AI agents. That integration placed Adobe Firefly Foundry inside WPP Open, allowing brands to train generative models using their own intellectual property.
