Acer has introduced the Predator XB253Q U1, its first Full HD monitor with a 1000 Hz refresh rate, designed for competitive gaming and esports. The 24.5-inch display also includes Acer's Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro technology to cut motion blur and ghosting, plus Circular Polarizer technology to reduce glare and eye strain. It is VESA DisplayHDR400 certified and supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible for tear-free visuals.
The monitor was unveiled alongside a broader lineup spanning the Predator, Acer Nitro, and Acer ProDesigner brands, covering gaming and content creation. Among the new models is the 31.5-inch Predator X32 V3, which uses a QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel with UHD resolution, a 180 Hz refresh rate, and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification. The 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 offers baseline UHD at 160 Hz and can switch via Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) technology to Full HD at up to 500 Hz.
Acer also expanded its Nitro line with several monitors. The Acer Nitro XV275X P is a 27-inch display with 5K resolution, 2304-zone Mini LED backlighting, and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, with DFR allowing a shift to QHD at 330 Hz. The curved 34-inch Acer Nitro XZ340CKR P pairs WUHD resolution at 180 Hz with DFR support for up to WFHD at 360 Hz. The Acer Nitro XV275U Z2 is a 27-inch model with 1152-zone Mini LED backlighting and tri-mode DFR technology that can reach a 520 Hz refresh rate. The Acer Nitro XV270U Z3 also supports tri-mode DFR, spanning QHD, FHD and HD.
For creators, Acer introduced the ProDesigner PE270X P, a 27-inch monitor with 5K resolution, Delta E<1 color accuracy, a 2304-zone Mini LED backlight, and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification.
