Your Roblox recovery code hasn't arrived, and you're stuck at the login screen. First, check what you're waiting for: password recovery sends a reset link, while other login flows use codes. Start with the right inbox, then work through delivery checks and the sign-in options already connected to your account.

Start with the exact account email

On the Roblox login page, select Forgot Password or Username?. Enter your account email exactly as registered, including its punctuation, then select Submit.

Allow a few minutes, then check your inbox and spam or junk folder. Look for Reset Password: Roblox's email password-recovery instructions describe a link, although some recovery screens request a code.

Open Reset Password in the email and choose your account if prompted. Enter and confirm a new password, then submit it. A password reset does not remove two-step verification.

For an under-13 account, check the child's configured parental recovery mailbox. That address can differ from the email on the parent's linked Roblox account. While signed in, its setup is under Settings > Account Info.

Request a fresh email verification code

Use these checks when Roblox asks for an emailed two-step verification code after login. This is a separate challenge from password recovery.

Check the account's registered mailbox, including Spam, Junk, Promotions, Social, and other folders.

Mark a filtered Roblox message Not Spam.

Add [email protected] to your email contacts.

Back on the verification screen, select Resend Code or Start Over.

Enter the newly received code carefully and promptly. Email two-step codes expire after 15 minutes, and Roblox says an incorrectly entered code stops working for that account. The 15-minute limit is not a universal rule for every recovery code.

If you selected Email Me a One-Time Code, enter the account's exact verified email. That's the separate passwordless login flow.

Select Resend if its code hasn't arrived.

Enter the new code on the device that requested it.

If delivery still fails, sign in with your password if you know it. Try email login again later; Roblox gives no exact waiting interval.

Check mail filters and available storage

Mail filters move Roblox messages out of the inbox, leaving a delivered code hidden in another folder.

In Gmail on the web, open Show search options.

Set the search scope to Mail & Spam & Trash.

Search for Roblox messages.

Restore any relevant message from Spam or Trash.

Open Settings > See all settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses to inspect Gmail's filters.

Edit or delete a rule that deletes Roblox messages or makes them skip the inbox.

For Outlook.com, Outlook on the web, or new Outlook for Windows, open Settings > Mail > Junk email > Safe senders and domains > + Add safe sender.

Enter [email protected] for email two-step verification.

Select OK.

Select Save.

Open Outlook's Settings > Mail > Rules to inspect rules that move or delete Roblox mail.

Turn off the offending rule. In classic Outlook, clear its checkbox under File > Manage Rules & Alerts. New Outlook cannot manage rules for third-party Gmail, Yahoo, or iCloud accounts.

Check your email account's cloud storage if other messages are also missing. Full Google Account storage blocks incoming mail; Microsoft also recommends freeing full cloud storage when Outlook cannot receive messages.

Delete unneeded messages or files and empty discarded items to restore space.

Request another Roblox message after freeing storage.

If Gmail on Android isn't updating, swipe down in the inbox to refresh.

Check the mailbox in a computer browser to see whether the message arrived but the app hasn't synchronized.

Try your attached phone number

Open Forgot Password or Username?. Roblox documents this route for an account that has no email address attached but does have a phone number attached; that's when you reset your password from the Phone tab.

Select Phone.

Choose the correct country code.

Enter your number in Phone Number.

Select Continue.

Select Verify.

Complete the verification challenge.

Enter the six-digit code you receive.

Select Verify.

Choose the account if asked.

Set and confirm a new password.

If the text is missing on an iPhone running iOS 26, check Messages > Filters > Unknown Senders for the Roblox conversation.

Check Messages > Filters > Spam for the legitimate message, too.

Select Not Spam on that message.

Select Move to Inbox.

On Android with Google Messages, open your profile menu > More options > Spam & blocked. Some layouts show the spam folder directly in the profile menu.

Select the legitimate sender.

Choose Unblock.

Before retrying phone recovery, double-check that the country code matches your attached number.

Complete two-step verification another way

If your password reset worked but Roblox still asks for verification, use a method you previously configured. These options complete the login challenge; they don't repair email delivery.

For an offered authenticator challenge, open your configured authenticator app.

Enter its current code. If that code expires, use the new one displayed in the app.

Choose Backup Code when offered.

Enter an unused code you saved earlier. Backup codes are generated in advance, rather than emailed, and each works once.

Complete an offered security-key challenge with your previously enrolled key.

If Roblox presents second-device verification, review your login attempt on the mobile device already signed into the account.

Approve your own login attempt on that device.

For an account using Enhanced Protection, complete the offered passkey or hardware-security-key challenge. Email and authenticator codes are disabled for two-step challenges in this mode. Signing in with a password or email code does not remove that requirement.

If you lose the passkey, follow account recovery and complete its ownership-verification challenges.

Use a saved passkey or a device still signed in

Already saved a Roblox passkey? Select it when the login form offers it.

Authenticate with your device's fingerprint, face recognition, or screen-lock code.

To use a phone's passkey on a computer, click the login form's Username field.

Choose Passkey from Nearby Device… or Use a Different Passkey.

Scan the displayed QR code with the phone holding the passkey.

Complete authentication on the phone. A successful passkey login avoids the ordinary two-step code challenge.

Quick Login is another option when it's offered and you have a nearby device already signed into Roblox. On the new device, select Log In with Another Device.

On the signed-in device, open Account Settings > Quick Login.

Enter the code displayed on the new device. The code lasts five minutes.

Select Enter.

Review your login request.

Select Grant Full Account Access.

If neither method succeeds, check the recovery form using the browser fixes below, then contact Roblox Support if your existing recovery methods remain inaccessible.

Repair a recovery form that won't work

Check the Roblox status page for an incident affecting login or website availability. Retry after a relevant incident is resolved. An operational status doesn't prove that your individual email was sent or delivered.

If JavaScript is blocked in desktop Chrome, open View site information > Site settings on the recovery page. Allow JavaScript, then reload the page. Roblox's recovery and support pages require it.

For a malfunctioning page, open Chrome's More > Extensions > Manage extensions. Turn extensions off and retry, then restore them individually to identify interference. This addresses browser problems, not email delivery.

If filtering software blocks CAPTCHA, add .arkoselabs.com and .funcaptcha.com to its allowlist. On a managed device or network, ask the administrator to review those blocks. Retry verification after the blocks are removed.

Contact Roblox Support when recovery stays blocked

Use the Roblox Support portal when delivery keeps failing or your attached recovery methods are inaccessible.

  1. 1.Describe which flow fails: password recovery, email two-step verification, phone recovery, or a one-time login code.
  2. 2.Explain what happens on screen and which inbox, spam-folder, or phone checks you've completed.
  3. 3.For a compromised account, contact support using the original account email or the billing email used for the first payment, if you still have access to either.
  4. 4.Explain whether those addresses were changed or are inaccessible, then complete the ownership review requested by support. Recovery is not guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my saved Roblox passkey missing on another device?

For a synchronized passkey on the same platform, check that you're signed into the same iCloud or Google account used when saving it. Roblox does not promise synchronization between different platforms. Use the nearby-device passkey option when available.

Which sender should I add for an email-address verification message?

For email-address verification during setup or contact changes, add [email protected] to your contacts. Allow a few minutes, check spam or junk, then retry verification. This address is not a universal sender for every Roblox recovery message.

What does Roblox require if I lose my primary two-step verification method?

Roblox requires two different verification methods for two-step recovery when the primary method is lost. A password reset alone does not meet that requirement.

How do I prepare recovery options after regaining access?

Open Account Info in account settings and use Add Email or, where eligible, Add Phone, then complete verification. Phone recovery options are listed for ages 13 and over and depend on country availability. To replace saved recovery codes, open Settings > Security, find recovery codes, and select Generate. Enter your password and save the new codes; generating replacements invalidates the old ones.
